Ehhhhhh I don't think that really fits under the "great oversight by nintendo" description. So personally, I doubt it.I bet a tenner, it's a rumble pack.

So ... ehhhhhhhh... I think it does. Every single thing you guys blabbering on about the new cpp is daft when you look at your own quote. Nintendo already sell the cpp. it is not an oversight.
Nothing so far gives us rumble.

There's no comparison, though. Rumble doesn't greatly affect gameplay: It just adds some haptic feedback which is "cool", but definitely doesn't make the vast majority of games any easier or better to play. Also, such haptic features could easily be replaced with alternatives that work just as well. Consider Zelda 3D: It lacked a rumble feature for the Stony of Agony, and they replaced it with a glowing icon with sound, which worked just as well. To me, saying that the lack of rumble on the 3DS is a "great oversight" is like saying that lack of 3D on the Vita is a "great oversight". It's not, it's just a cool little extra feature that the system could easily function with or without. So ... ehhhhhhhh... I think it does. Well assuming what lostdwarf says is correct...Rumble would be impossible, wouldn't it?
You'd need to program things in the game to trigger it.
...It would be technically possible. However, through that method, it sounds like it would be annoying and random, setting off a rumble every time a loud sound goes off, rather than a nice enhancement.games can use soundwaves to create realistic rumble effects. it would automaticly work with any game this way.

Oh. Still not happening.Well assuming what lostdwarf says is correct...Rumble would be impossible, wouldn't it?

"Something Nintendo forgot" isn't quite as strong as "great oversight". A "great oversight" implies that it's something arguably VERY important to gameplay that wasn't included, whether it be battery life, controls, good implementation of an already existing feature, etc. Rumble just flat-out doesn't fit in that category in my opinion. They do not mention that the peripheral makes it easier to play anything. just that it adds something nintendo have forgotten.

A) Advice: Don't quote EVERYTHING. it turns 2 line posts into giant walls.don't you read? Nyko make batteries already ... so... you know... they can do that and it doesnt take much power at all.
oh and soundwaves... ie VIBRATIONS are not files you fool

Time to wake up, dude.OK I win.
CPP with the buttons as well plus rumble and a magnifying glass with battery extender.

OK I win.

That's what I was thinking.OK I win.

Because the magnifying glass isn't gonna mess with the 3D layer of the screen at all.
