I purchased a used Wii which already is softmoded but I'm unable to update it. Its on system version 3.2.
I tried updating via bannerbomb, directly through already installed HBC, tried through Lego Indiana Jones save game. Tried updaing HBC as well.

Applications installed on Wii are:

Gecko OS 1.9.3
uLoader - Hermes 2009
Homebrev 1.0.1
IOS536 v 255.255

I wrote a guide for posting a SysCheck properly, there is a link in my signature. I suggest you change your link.
My link is just to get sysCheck. I wasn't trying to imply that my link was a tutorial. Sorry.
I know, I was just suggesting you link to the guide next time you ask someone to post a SysCheck, since most of the time people don't post theirs correctly (or at least don't use spoiler tags).

That's not a bad idea, and, yes, even I have forgotten to use spoiler tags when posting sysCheck logs. =P
I'd update my signature with an additional link to your tutorial, but if I did, I'd lose all but one image. =(

I agree, shortz.... But it looks like we're gonna need some additional info from Vampir about the whole region change issue.

well after reading an re reading his sys post. an knowing what mod mii will do, my plan would be to change the region back to J . i would think his region wouldn't really matter seeing the wii is a different region no matter how you look at it.( U or J ). then update every thing, an if he wants to change the region from J to E or even back to U. that would be his call.
never really messed with region changer, so this is just a guess at my level.

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
