Real Quick about this:
So, I'll do you one better and give you a choice. I'd have to assume that most here would still consider you a jackass, but I'll try and offer at least a little redemption. I'm going to PM you a specific phrase. When I receive word that YOU have donated including that phrase, I will drop whatever my 'lazy' ass is doing, and will personally put forth the time and effort to update the svn with a feature that you've mentioned previously. One that you have not deemed lazy.
To be clear I want to make sure that by using the word "Lazy" that I'm referring to the feature itself is for lazy folk like myself at times :grog:

There's something wrong with some of ya'll by the way lol.

The donation issue is getting silly, it's simple. No one is forcing Donations anywhere period, if I work, have kids and a wife a gf, pretty much a life etc.. and my hobby is to code wonderful things like DML, Wiiflow or whatever else I don't do it for the donations.. I do it cuz I love it, now when life gets hectic and I have less time to spend on a hobby which receives no compensation, and I have to choose between that and my personal life where I have to put my time towards getting paid the choice is simple, less time for my hobby and more time getting paid.

Now when I see that people donate I obviously have a bigger incentive to put forth some more time into developing my hobby and it makes me think twice, like damn not only do people really appreciate what I do and whether it's $5 or $500 dollars it's awesome to know that this is valuable enough for somebody else to fork out their hard earned cash..

The next step is one of beauty of course and one that most people never get to, making their hobby a full time thing due to replacing the income they had at the shitty job that most of us hate. I mean think about it who the hell doesn't wanna get paid for doing what they love. Anyways the question should be why wouldn't we donate? Donate towards something we all obviously thoroughly enjoy, for the love of god were killing ourselves eating McDonald's and paying for it so what's the big deal? Lol.

But definitely don't expect anything if you're not contributing anything.. period. Time is valuable to all of us, and unfortunately some of us aren't in the position to waste it ;-)

In the first post the OP recommend Sandisk cards but if you take your time and read back a few posts many people had recommended cheap cards that works great too.
Going back a few 10? I really don't have the time.
Well, your question has been asked a lot in the past on this thread. Common procedure is research prior to ask "already answered" questions. ;)

r50 has been deprecated on the Google Code page but it's still downloadable.
Is there something wrong with that build or is that just part of the laughable drama that has been going on lately?

Bro using search is way faster then waiting for someone to respond when the question has already been responded to like 171 times lol, imho. The search function is to save everyone's time.

Multi-disc game support or maybe integrated 2011 year tax calculation and e-filing. :ha:

Wow, haven't checked this out since you guys got the compatibility way up and it certainly seems like you've got your fair share of drama going on between donations and that rival project. Nonetheless I look forward to trying out that new reset feature, and the feature to edit where cheats are loaded from will definitely be useful with loaders that throw them into the codes folder. I think the only thing I'm really waiting for is compatibility for Kirby Air Ride at this point, it used to hang last time I tried loading it but that was a few revs back and I'm not sure if it works or not now. Regardless you guys have done an amazing job getting this project to where it is now.
Also just a heads up to the bit of bickering I've seen about people and the donating thing, to donate is to give freely without expecting a thing back. I think it's great that the team actually puts forth some extra effort for everyone to show their appreciation for donations, they could just accept them with a thank you and leave it at that you know.
Anyway, enough of my two cents. You guys have enabled me to put my wii on more life support than I thought was possible with my busted drive, and it's great to see this project has reached the stage it has, let alone that it's still moving onward. Keep up the good stuff.

DML is still awesome, regardless of Devolution. You can use Devolution for games you own original discs from and use DML for any other game. But anyway, lets try to keep the Devolution discussion in its own thread :)

The reset and power off works awesome! I was playing zelda ww one night and then switched over to watch some shows to fall asleep to. I forgot to turn off my wii since at the time, you could not from the GC controller so it was left on all night :( Now I can use my wireless GC controller, shut it off and go to bed without getting up YAY.

Just gave Kirby a test on r50 and I'm happy to say that it works fine. There's a bit of lag when starting a round, but it plays smoothly from there onward. I can officially do everything I've wanted to do gamecube wise since my wii's disc drive died now, so I thank you guys so much for putting together this amazing project.
I'll still be keeping tabs on the upcoming revisions and such nonetheless, but so far everything is pretty much perfect from my standpoint. Great work guys.

Edit: Guess I spoke too soon, only the first part of City Trial seems to work for me. The second part where you compete in a minigame just stalls at the PRESS A screen. Only tested with Drag Race though, I'll do more thorough testing with it when I get the chance.

Have you tested an uncompressed file or not?Unfortunately,Kirby Air Ride seems to work only in uncompressed form....(yet?)

yea, you have to have the game uncompressed. doing so will fix any hangs/crashes the game has. ive tested every level several times, it works great.

edit: btw, how do you use DML with a broke drive. doesnt it need to read a disc in the drive in order to run?
