Hardware New color! New Bundles!

Nintendo Recently announced a new color of 3DS, Cobalt Blue.

This new color costs 15000 yens ($184,15), and will be released in Japan at March 22, there is no release date to North America or Europe yet.


In Japan, at April 19, there will be released a limited edition bundle of the 3DS cobalt Blue with fire Emblem Awakening

There will be released new Bundles at March 17 on Japan, they cost 19.800 yen($243,08)
These bundles will be released in North America and Europe in December next to Christmas

3DS Ice White + Mario 3D Land + Super Mario Bros

AND

3DS Coral Pink + Mario 3D Land + Super Mario Bros

3DS Coral Pink with Nintedogs + cats

3DS Cosmo Black + Monster Hunter 3G

AND

3DS Flame Red + Monster Hunter 3G

Nintendo will release a new color of 3DS: Midnight Purple

This new color will be released in USA on May 20th
It will cost $169.99

Eh, the only color that would make want to trade in my current 3DS would be the Zelda and Kid Icarus ones, other then that I'm ok with my black one.

Word of caution, if you buy the pink one, don't expect to get much for it if you want to resell it. I have seen it way too often with the previous DS iterations.

The Cobalt Blue one is pretty sexy, it's now in the running for me between that and the black one. I still may wait a while to see if they do a revision but it's starting to eat away at me seeing all the good games coming out for it now.

Would you be comfortable importing all of your games? I have money set aside solely for importing a console whenever a flashcart is released for the 3DS.

If there comes a time I need a replacement 3DS, which is probably a ways off barring any possible redesigns, Cobalt Blue will be my system of choice.
Ice White is a close call but that blue is sexy as hell, what they should have shipped from the start.
