Reaching way back (http://gbatemp.net/topic/204106-wiiflow-an-open-source-gui-usb-loader/page__st__4450) I had a problem with the uDraw tablet and Wiiflow.
I reported it on the wiiflow-mod site a few weeks back but the issue was closed as Overjoy had people test it and couldn't replicate the issue.
I have since tested it on three fully re-hacked Wii's, two 4.2E, one 4.3U, with latest Wiiflow r159/cIOSx v8br41, completely clean installs. Both still have the same DSI dump issues starting Wiiflow from the uDraw controller.
I'd like to hear if anyone else still has this issue (or the two guys who confirmed the issue in the link above - bostonBC or shortz1994), so I can confirm either it's not just me, or perhaps it's something to do with the setup's I'm creating.
As I said in the link above, it used to work in earlier wiiflow revisions. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone tried to make trailers yet for WiiFlow? I tried using that THP converter for some short trailers, but making a 4mb mp4 file into thp bumps the size into the 50mb range, so it seems like it's better to just wait for some alternatives?

I think that sounds about right actually...if you look at the trailers on Wiiflowiki, most of them are between 20-50MB

Isn't there a library that would allow wii to play off files that are MP4 or other more convential video file formats that WiiFlow could intergrate? THP doesn't seem like a very size efficient format, at least from conversion from one to another format.

I have a uDraw tablet and will check it with WiiFlow today and report back as I am using the same cIOS. But I am using r418 for a variety of reasons. When you said 'latest' was r159 a typo?

Also - does anyone know if the savegame emulation requires a nand dump or any special folder structure to be created on the hard disk? Is there any way to extract save games from NAND so any previous game play will be picked up if you use savegame emulation? TIA.

for save emulation you don't need NAND dump.

For transfert save, backup your NAND, extract it, and copie the save directory. Or use save game manager gx

I think WiiMC can play mp4 files if I'm not mistaken. Someone could always take a look at that code.

r159 means something like "r418 mod r159." It's somewhere in between r418 and a future r419.
r159 is the latest available for download at the googlecode wiiflow-mod page. http://code.google.c.../downloads/list
r418 is also known as wiiflow-mod r69

I vote for Save Game Manager GX. If you care to explain how to know WHICH file constitutes the right save game directory, though, I've always been curious about that.

i'll also do some clarifying....
as of this last weekend, r418 has been axed from the wiiflow main....wiiflow and wiiflow-mod are going to be continuing as separate projects.

...so r159 is Wiiflow-mod r159. it's r0 is r417....at some point Miigotu will likely release a r418 which will be completely different than FIX94's r418 in the wild right now....and this will not confuse anyone :::sarcasm:::

Right. I noticed that, too. Fortunately r418 is the most recent one still downloadable from the link on the wiki. It may disappear, too, once all the references to it are removed from the wiki as well, who knows. Miigotu officially started the fusion process Friday night but who knows what will actually happen since wiiflow-mod is still moving along nicely as well as such it's kinda hard to patch the two together when. I do wonder, though, what additions Miigotu might have been working on between the time he lost internet and this past little bit when he saw what had been happening in his absence.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't know the code had branched into 2 different versions. Will there be a separate wiki/download site for what is the r418 branch? I like Miigotu and have contributed in the past but his schedule doesn't seem amenable to reasonable updates and frankly the r418 version was the first one in a long time that I thought was stable enough to use.

That would be a question for the wiiflow devs..

Thanks to all who replied on this. What is the difference between partial and full savegame emulation? Also - are there any known problems with it?

Is there a list of what is in Wiiflow-mod r159?

All of the changes for each of the 90 steps from r69 (418) to r159 are here if you want to go through it all:
http://code.google.c...mod/source/list

Edit:
Some of the more notable changes are:
- The ability to install and delete gamecube games.
- Finally fixed the Wiimote sync delays.
- Changed the coverflow order to Wii -> Gamecube -> NAND -> homebrew
- Optionally added the ability to select through those four directly with the D-Pad while pointing at the icon.
- You can now press on the options button to refresh the cache (instead of manually going in and deleting the files when you install something new.)
- I think there is now a flag icon for each of the language options instead of just text.
- I also think the name errors from the GameTDB title / info download is also fixed but I haven't actually checked that one yet.
- A number of other little bug fixes and corrections.

Where (Folder Name) do we need to put the GC games on USB in order to show them in Wiiflow, shouldn't it be "NGC" like in PL3?
I know Miigotu was saying on IRC that he wanted to use the same convention as Postloader just to create a standard when he merged the code ...
... but looking at the source code for r160 it looks like it's "games" just like it is on the SD.

Edit : Actually, if there were just an entry in "wiiflow.ini" to change that like there is with all the other folders, that could be easily rectified.

Fantastic, thanks. I just installed r159 and it looks very good. Going to test it with my 2 problem games and report back.

edit: The Smurfs Dance part shows a black screen after launch and Kirby's Return to Dreamland shows a white screen after pressing 2 on the intro page - just as previous WiiFlow versions did. Sigh

I don't recall any issues with Kirby RTD - I played that a fair bit when it came out. I'll test this out myself again. Have not got Smurfs though.
As far as I know there are only a few games left with issues - TinTin and Driver SanFran
You're on the latest cIOSx? Completely clean install?
