Kadokawa Games made formal announcement today of the Lollipop Chainsaw Premium Edition that was first revealed in Dengeki PlayStation earlier in the week.
As previously detailed, the Japanese version of Grasshopper Manufacture's new action title will be offered in standard and Premium Edition packages. The standard version tones down the content enough for a D CERO rating. Premium Edition has a Z rating (the same rating that games like Grand Theft Auto get), with selectable gore/violence levels.
The Premium Edition also allows you to switch between Japanese and English voices and includes exclusive costumes.
Kadokawa is readying three different package designs for the game. PS3 and Xbox 360 share the same packaging for the standard version, but have different box art for the Premium Edition. You can get a small glimpse here:

Both versions are priced ¥7,980. Look for Lollipop Chainsaw in May.

The cut version most likely is not going to sell.

the best way to go about this is make a really limited print run of the vanilla version and concentrate on the premium ones, because given a choice, the japanese will most likely ignore the wholesome lollipop.

LOL

They don't know what they are missing.

Yeah, the image and link are dead for me as well. Is there any way you could fix that?

As for this game... it's from Suda51. I'd be worried if it wasn't balls out insane.
