Props, stfour on this project, stfour et al.

Question; I've installed postloader as a channel on my emunand (mainly b/c wads in HBFilter wouldn't load). other channels installed from wad work fine but postloader launches ok and then hangs at the Please wait....Loading screen.

Any idea as to the issue or how I can resolve it?

TIA
Are you using the latest version of the channel?

I believe so, I used the venerable XFlak's Modmii 5.1.0
I can't see that from searching that others have had this issue. I can certainly try reinstalling it. Are any known conflicts that have been known to cause this prob?

Anything
Try the one from here:

I've tried downloading and even rebuilt emunand. Using neek2o. Still PostLoader hangs on the PLEASE WAIT screen.
Anyone else experience this or have a suggestion?
Damn!

I'm having the same problem!

You get the solved?

I had this issue when trying to run everything from my USB HDD (no SD card), which to my understanding cannot be done. As soon as I moved the apps folder back to the SD it worked.

@ stfour: apps

@ lepicane: apps folder is currently on SD, I guess you could say I'm running a stock modmii setup

If I run it from my real NAND, it asks me to create a config file and save to SD or USB. Do I have to go through that step for this to work first?

EDIT: I mgiht have accidently created the config for my postloader on USB, how do I revert that??

@Digital1980: yes, you mast select a device for configuration file

-------------------------------------

postLoader 3.58.0 (This is a BETA... tester are welcome ;) )

* mp3 background music added... copy your mp3 to /ploader/mp3 or /mp3 on usb or sd
* created .conf file managment library
* Now channels/games configuration is stored in a single conf files.
* Added overflow protection if a bad header is found during wbfs scan.
* grlib_menu redraw previous screen when exiting
* gametdb titles.txt is now supported. Just copy in /ploader folder. Note that utf-8 support is minimal, so don't expect to read symbols (for example, Japanese).
* Added menu option to select app browsing from sd/usb/both. Press [home]->Select device(s)

Any chance of moving /ploader to /config/ploader (or support both) to align with other tools (and keep my root dir clean)?

I've got my SD card designated for the CFG but still freezing up. The Wiimote loses sync and shuts off as part of the symptom. Apps and config are stored on SD card currently.

Files on sd card are being created by postloader, here is the ouput of the cfg file:

PLCFGV0008 € C0 € ðC0 ÿÿ

Download ver 3.58.1 from gogle code. Unpack the zip, rename postLoader.dol to boot.dol and copy to sd:/apps/postloader. Then create an empty file in the root of sd named ploader.log. Start postloader and the send me ploader.log.

Sent, thanks!

Looks I'm getting a "DSI Error Occurred" when when the APP is trying to initialize USB and SD devices. Tried and without the ploader.log file and got the same results. Also deleted the "ploader" folder from root if there was one each time.

Thank you... I was able to replicate the bug. As workaround please unpack the full package postloader.3.57.1.zip to the sd. Without a theme it crash.

damn themes!!

Thanks, I'll give that a go. Thank you soo much. I'll report back with results.

edit: just to be clear, DO NOT USE A THEME and extract entire postloader.3.57.1.zip to SD (ovewriting any files already there) right?

Liking the latest betas, stfour(I'll do a front page post when you do the next 'full' release).
I like the mp3 feature- i tend to browse around alot so i put a 45min AesopRock song as bg music=)
Also, the screensaver addition is cool- i walked away from the tv, and was surprised to see the pics in rotation =P

So to reload ios249 or ios58 in MMM, I need to add them (.WAD files) to my emulated NAND with showmiiwads right?

I've done that with the mentioned IOS(s) through showmiiwads and they do show up in MMM as yellow (activatable) but when I tried to reload, the whole system locks up. Have to hold powerbutton to hard shutdown. The wiimote also loses sync as well.

Am I doing this the right way?? Just want to launch some apps in install wads but getting ticket errors and launching apps just locks the system up. I'm assuming this is all because I can't switch it from stock IOS58 it is curently set to by default.

* Handled correctly sound when ios reload is performed
* Code clean
* Better debug output

This version should be as stable as 3.57.1
