I have used this for five minutes so far.

Pros: OH MI GAWD YOUTUBE WORKS GREAT
Cons: It can't detect music via my hooked in Sansa Fuze. It can find it, and I can browse the folders. It just can't find any folders holding the actual music. I'll assume that has something to do with how my MP3 player does stuff. I suppose I can just remove the MicroSD card and use that via a reader, but that only comprises about 4GB of my current 12GB of music.

Regardless, this is quite nice. I really like it.

Does it support flac?

Edit: I checked the wiibrew page, and it says it does, I converted several of my vinyl Lps to flac, so it's nice that WiiMC supports flac

I would advise anyone who streams from their PC to their Wii through WiiMC NOT to update. It disables the streaming but I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. Other than that this is a great Media Player for your Wii.

I notice youtube is not complete yet. I just watch Pokemon Gold TAS and it stop in begging and automatic back to menu. I was like wth is that? Why youtube bring me back on menu in wiimc? I think youtube need be fix. I will be glad if you do fix it and improve. Thank and thumb up for youtube for wiimc.

Must be a bug in your version, SMB shares works fine with my version of 1.2.2

Looks great. However, I installed it on my emunand and it is only looking for media files on my SD Card. Why would it not be able to see the FAT32 HDD where I have my media stored?

If you are using UNEEK, then the USB drive is your NAND. It doesn't look for media on NAND. I would assume that is what is causing your issue.

You, sir, are correct!!

So, what would/could I do to rectumfy this issue?

Use it from a real NAND, use a USB drive in a different slot, load media from SD/from a computer over WiFi using SMB.

Can we get a fix to .mms playing? I have yet to get a single .mms channel to work and I know very well that the ones I tried in WiiMC work perfectly on the PC :(

Hmm. I'll patiently wait for further development. I have Neek2o and I'm hopeful of running it from the emunand. Even if I run it from SD card through post loader it still won't recognize HDD. This should be 'fixable'.
fingers crossed cause it looks just too good. And the HBO-like forwarder channel is awesome.

Thx!
