Android Rooted my phone...

Best rom for the Inspire is most definitely MIUI. But that's my opinion. You have to like the look. At first, I didn't like the UI, swapped back to standard, hated it and missed having folders.

Hey uhm one more question. i have cyanogen mod installed rigt now with my signal and all working with the google apps file and I was just wondering is Cyanogen mod the best rom out there for inspire?I like cyanogen mod Alot, but is there any really good stable sense 3.0 or 3.5 roms out there for inspire?
Well it's down to personnal choice to say which is a 'better' ROM

I've tried a few different ROMs for my DesireHD (Virtuous / RCMix3d / LeeDroid / CoreDroid / Android Revolution) all containing different Sense UI (2 / 3 / 3.5) & I've always gone back to 'Android Revolution HD',

Why !!
- Firstly it has 'Sense' (I need this as I have a full HTC Satnav licence, which I apparently lose if I go for a MIUI ROM)
- Has good support (regular updates - I've seen some ROM's appears & then not updated for 'quite a while')
- Seems like it has good compatibility (Other ROMS I've tried I've had 'standard Apps' lock up on me e.g the Camera is one of them)
- Very Popular (they have >6000 pages of posts)

But other people will swear by one of the Other ROMs as being the best

Well it's a bit late since it now working, but I can tell you I had a similar problem....

Guess what it was (for me at least) ...
- I hadn't clipped the Sim card/MSD cover back on properly on my Desire HD (there's a small metal link on the cover - with it off I never got a network signal)

I guess it's part of the Antennae
The back cover is the antennae, the connector is just a contact so that it works with the rest of the phone internals.

remember a rom is just
-A kernel
-Framework (or theme)
-apps

you can pretty much take your favorite parts of different roms and make your own!
I wouldn't recommend that to any beginner, maybe if you're feeling adventurous and have time on your hands, but otherwise it could be dangerous (if you mix up incompatible kernels and ROMs, mess up the radio, etc.)
