Best rom for the Inspire is most definitely MIUI. But that's my opinion. You have to like the look. At first, I didn't like the UI, swapped back to standard, hated it and missed having folders.
Well it's down to personnal choice to say which is a 'better' ROMHey uhm one more question. i have cyanogen mod installed rigt now with my signal and all working with the google apps file and I was just wondering is Cyanogen mod the best rom out there for inspire?I like cyanogen mod Alot, but is there any really good stable sense 3.0 or 3.5 roms out there for inspire?
The back cover is the antennae, the connector is just a contact so that it works with the rest of the phone internals.Well it's a bit late since it now working, but I can tell you I had a similar problem....
Guess what it was (for me at least) ...
- I hadn't clipped the Sim card/MSD cover back on properly on my Desire HD (there's a small metal link on the cover - with it off I never got a network signal)
I guess it's part of the Antennae
I wouldn't recommend that to any beginner, maybe if you're feeling adventurous and have time on your hands, but otherwise it could be dangerous (if you mix up incompatible kernels and ROMs, mess up the radio, etc.)remember a rom is just
-A kernel
-Framework (or theme)
-apps
you can pretty much take your favorite parts of different roms and make your own!
