If you cannot find something as simple as a Linux distro, you'd be better off not using Linux, really.

Please actually read the pages.. before you get any temptation to ask "Which one do I get?"

I also REALLY agree with Pingouin7 but if you want to learn you oughtta start somewhere.
Those are the two easiest to install that I am aware of, and you can actually use them from the installation media (USB flash drive or DVD, see http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/download) And you can play with either one before installing them if you chicken out or aren't sure which one you like.

You haven't found it because you're looking for the wrong thing. You might as well hear about this "football" thing and want to go to the ball to buy a football game to watch. :P

Linux is not one single OS/download like Windows/OSX. Linux has many variations.

EDIT: Try this. http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/

Well, good luck. Which Linux distribution are you trying?

The link Rydian provided is a REALLY good tool that will help you pick something more specific to your needs.

What I linked were just two of the most popular, user-friendly and well-supported free distributions.

I don't need some idiotic touchpad I am 11 Not Steve Jobs OR Bill Gates For that matter and if I was Steve Jobs I'm be dead

1) It's a tablet, not a touchpad.
2) grats on being 11
3) We figured you weren't steve jobs or bill gates
4) It's a spam bot. Don't even pay attention to it, just report the post as spam.

Seriously though, man, tablets are fantastic, IF you get a good one. Tbqh I wouldn't even trust the one the spambot linked because a) I've never heard of that site, and b) from my own personal experience, you get what you pay for with Android tablets.

Does it really make a difference? Thanks anyway :)
I found one btw I'm NOT dum just impaired.

That's not a valid excuse.

The drummer of Def Leppard lost his arm and is still playing drums!
.

And I have never heard of that band and that is probably the reason

It's not like he's an amazing drummer though. Props to him and the band for going on, but stick him in a Death or Black Metal band and he'd be lost....

Oh dear god another complete noob preparing to use linux for the first time, another thread in the making for "oh my god i broke my computer"

Answer these completely noob linux questions before you proceed

1. What is sudo
2. if you type "sudo fdisk -l" in terminal what happens
3 and we'll go for the very basic "what does ping do"

If you get any of those wrong I advise you to stay away from any distro of linux

Doesn't matter if you heard of them or not.
The point is that you saying that you're impaired IS NOT a valid reason to not do a little research.

Maybe he is maybe he isn't, but that isn't exactly the point of my reply.

For what it's worth, when he said he was impaired, I thought he might possibly mean that he was drunk (heck, I love creative ways of saying simple things), but I didn't say anything since I didn't know how rude he might take me for if that wasn't the case and he actually had accessibility problems (or worse). But the idea of getting drunk and installing Linux was a pretty funny one. >.> It was hard to hold back that train of thought :P

Then he said he was 11 and that the computer belonged to his father and not himself, and I'm glad he actually asked and appreciated his father's lack of consent before just installing it and giving his dad a really bad day.
