With the new possibility to transfer 3D videos to the 3DS, I would like to know if someone could create a video to remove stuck pixels on the 3D screen.

I have tried to extract the following video with a 3D converter and the programs shared here to make a YouTube video 3DS compatible but it didn't work:

I think that kind of feature can be very useful for the community. I currently have a stuck pixel on my 3D screen (the part you don't see in 2D mode) so I could be able to say very quickly if it works.

Thanks in advance.

Great idea. I have a stuck pixel visible in 2D and 3D mode, so I'm going to try and transfer the 2D video across to see if it fixes it.

EDIT
You're right, transferring a 2D video doesn't seem to work, they don't show up on the 3DS.

NB, I wonder if this should be in the hardware section.

Making it right now. be back in 2 minutes
Thanks a lot !
I also have 1 stuck pixel on my laptop screen and tried several methods for removing it but it's still stuck.
The method is said to be working on half of the case. Still worth trying it, although I know maybe it won't "save" my console

It did fix a stuck pixel on my mums DSL.
But it didn't fix the one on my lap screen, I guess I'm lucky enough it's in a place thats barely noticable.

After MU stopped being a dick, I managed to download and transfer it to the 3DS. It didn't work on a single run, so I've left it looping. Some sites tell you to run it every day for a while, so maybe it will fix itself over a period of time.

Honestly, though, I'm not sure if the pixel is stuck or dead. It's only a subpixel, though, and it's hardly noticeable, so I'm not too disappointed.

If the pixel is still colored when the screen turns black, it's stuck for sure. If it stays black when the rest of the screen goes white, there's no way to know.

Mine is black (so impossible to notice) on black screen and sort of light green of most of the other colors.

Managed to download it, yay!

That video is 5 minutes long... is there a way to increase it's length ? (or is there a loop mode in 3ds?)

probably ffmpeg can do it, but I dont know the commands... :(

When you open it in the photo program, by clicking on modify you can load it into a infinite loop and even increase its speed
