I'm wondering for those of you who have Android phones with the 4 capacitive button lights, do they stay on for you when viewing videos on the stock player? They do for me even though my phone settings should turn them off after 6 seconds, it's really annoying and it's a waste of battery life. The only workaround is to turn off the lights completely but then I'd have to turn them back on when I'm done watching the video.
I'm using a Galaxy S2, and I searched online and found that other phones have this problem too but no one has a solution.

That's weird I have an old Motorolla Milestone & the capacitive buttons light is always on except when I launch the stock video player they auto-close , but I am on CyanogenMod so not sure if that's a native feature or no .

For me, Youtube does turn off the lights. I've only noticed this problem on the stock video player so far.

However, I have another problem with Youtube, how can I expand the video size? Like in the stock video player, you can make it play in native resolution or have it fill the whole screen. I know you can do this on a iDevice too, but I can't figure out how to do it on Android Youtube. (Double tap just changes from portrait to landscape).

LEDs aren't a battery hog, they're especially insignificant compared to your 480x800 AMOLED screen.

The player just fills up the screen as much as it can while maintaining the video's aspect ratio, if it doesn't fill your screen it's because of the video itself. There is no native resolution option.
