i made this channel with the dol that was passed to start neek2o. i used my menufy as the base. just incase there are some people out there, that are not sure how to get neek 2o started (noobs). just download the wad an use your wad manager to make it a channel.
thanks for all the hard work overjoy an obcd. if this is worng feel free to delet post, just thought i would help some people out who are not sure how to start neek2o. :yaywii:
this is the source for the neek2o dol.(spoiler)
also i moved all the channels for neek here to first post. if i make a new one it will go here( so people will know were the source is.

Thanks for the channel.
Lack of time is what kept us from doing it ourself.
Overjoy even posted a request if someone could create a channel for it.
I guess you missed it.

So this is a channel that will start neek2o when the Wii is running the system NAND ?

At the moment, when the SD card is inserted, my Wii automatically goes straight to neek2o on the USB HDD. Presumably, this is something on the SD card doing this (one of the bootmii files created by ModMii ?). If I switch the bootmii files back to the originals and install this channel then I assume my Wii will start normally and then I simply start this channel to switch to neek2o ?

@adambrunt,
yes that is correct. Basically the file SD:\bootmii\armboot.bin is built into the app and points to sd:\sneek\kernel.bin or usb:\sneek\kernel.bin. So renaming or deleting the bootmii folder for uneek is what you'd need to do if u intend to use this channel\loader.

edit: just a clarification, these means you can run uneek or uneek+di without an sd card

Thanks XFlak - sounds exactly like what I need :D Mind you I would still want to keep Bootmii so would need to keep the SD card anyway ... must get round to putting the bootmii.ini file back on the SD card soon.

Also from what I've read - neek2o can only run apps off an SD card, right ? So you'd still need an SD card for homebrew ?

Because mini doesn't support usb (yet) it will not work without sd. mini will still launch the kernel on the sd-card, but it's true that it doesn't need the bootmii folder with modified armboot.bin for sneek

yes, but the bootmii folder to launch bootmii is different from the one used to launch s\uneek. So beware of that.

That is correct about running apps off the SD Card. But it's possible to install an app directly to the emulated nand as a channel. But still, this provides an excellent way to switch to and from neek. No more renaming or moving folders around, it's awesome

@shortz1994: I added a new dol on googlecode you might wanna use for your channel. That dol can be used to launch neek2o from real nand and goes back to real nand if you run it in neek2o.

Also.. is it oke with you if we host the channel on the googlecode page?

what IOS do u have loaded when using mmm?

Thanks (again this weekend) XFlak - that got it. It was running under 58 but changing to 249 let me install.

I certainly am a lot happier knowing my 5yr now just needs to start the SNEEK channel, wait ... and then start the Tintin channel rather than pulling SD cards in and out :D

Sorry I haven't had time to be on that much today after posting the channel. My wife had control of the computer after she got off work so that she could work on her classwork. Her degree will lead to a more fufilling career with greater income which will allow me more resources to work on this computer stuff. She's so nice to me. :)

I'm glad everyone so far likes the channel. I didn't think it would have such a positive responce so soon.

@ Overjoy - Yes, you can use it on googlecode.

I will put the new dol in after the punkinheads are in bed and I give my wife a backrub. I will probably have to watch some vampire show or something too.

(translated to include punctuation and grammar)
: i love my wife. she's lucky or i would have B slaped her into next year:
