Modern Warfare 3 Disk Stolen

A single disc of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's PC version has been stolen from a Fresno, California shipping warehouse. The disc is only half of a two-disc set, but copies have begun circulating among pirates online. The stolen disc was Disc 2 of the set, and it isn't immediately clear which parts of the game it contained

.One pirate who was allegedly caught playing a copy claims he was fined $5,000 and faces a permanent ban from online play. "Do not buy MW3 before release date. They will come get you," he wrote on Craigslist. "I already went through it."

Activision hasn't commented on the theft. Modern Warfare 3 will officially be released on November 8th.

It's not really playable as its just half the game, but the pirates sure are becoming more bold.
I don't think there's any chance of the other disk also being leaked.

if you steal, steal good not just disc 2 but also disc 1

seriously stealing? reminds me of an xbx fps game (half life or something) in which two cartoon characters play a game and get so excited that they break their console, their disc, squish it to powder and then sniff it all up

The game is already out (full Steam version) on some Warez sites, but no crack has been released as of yet.
The 1DVD version is pretty useless, you can download both already

Heh, probably gonna download the full Steam version and wait until the crack gets released Doesn't even matter to me, I'm only playing for the story now, multiplayer just isn't fun anymore (IN MY OPINION)

They just take whatever they can get, I don't suppose they had the possibility to steal the second DVD. Else they would of course have done it, but it probably wasn't possible.

That video is from Egoraptor and is about Halo. It's from his "Awesome" series. This guy is a great animator and even more great voice actor.

reminds me when a bunch of kids broke into a game store warehouse in singapore I think to steal halo 3 before the release date, recorded the whole event along with their faces, and uploaded it on youtube in an attempt to brag about it
