Soo...I lost my Steam account...Now i'm getting it BACK

So, I lost access to my gmail account that as attached to my steam account (read: deleted it) and one day I had to reinstall Windows...big mistake...this brand new shit that Steam was doing, verifying accounts on a "new" computer, I was screwed. It sent the confirmation to the fucking deleted gmail account.

so, I considered it a lost cause.

Okay, so I called my bank, and some time in April I made a transaction to Steam for $7.99. Sweet. I just sent Steam the info about the card used, and now I think I'm golden. It's funny. I don't care about the 32 other games on my account, just the TF2 items.

Also, screw the blogs, no one reads them anymore.

I lost my account, forgot the email attached to it, and some other stuff and Steam Support swiftly and painlessly helped me regain my account.
I was impressed since any and all other ___ Support services are complete and utter shit.

God I still remember trying to regain control of my fucking hotmail...
I gave them my full name, list of contacts, list of emails, email folders, iP addresses used, etc...everything they asked in perfect detail...and they're like "Yeah, uh, can't be sure it's you so you can't use your own email account, sorry."

Yeah, Steam is awesome. I got my account back with so much ease. Just a little email and they turned it back on a couple of hours later. If anyone is wondering they banned me because they thought I was using a stolen credit card.
