Hi guys,
I have recently upgraded to d2xv7 and Wiiflow r417.
I can play some WiiWare games (Bomberman Blast, chick chick BOOM, LostWinds) with WiiFlow under USB NAND.
But when I install certain games (eg. World of Goo, My Life as a King), WiiFlow crashed to the stack dump screen right after several seconds of NAND loading screen.
But I can use Mighty Channels to load the same USB NAND and play the game without issues.

Tried to remove all WiiFlow setting files, but no luck.

Anybody knows how to fix the error?

My Config:
USB Drive: 640GB in one big FAT32 partition. WiiFlow, Games and NAND under the same drive
Region: NTSC-J.
USB NAND dumped using simple fs dumper, full mode

Many thanks!!

IIRC, emu-NAND and Wiifow can't operate together. if wiiflow is launched from the HDD, the emu-NAND must be on the SD (or vice versa)....this is a limitation of the cIOS, not Wiiflow

Anyone know what the name of the game is with the bikini girl on the 8-bit forwarder splash screen?

And what's with these "download" and "play now" buttons on GBA now. OR am I the only one thats getting them?

Eraserturds.

can we get this explained please.
I have always ran Wiiflow and the NAND off the same hard drive.
Are you saying that won't work for some games and work for others? I am getting a lot of wiiware games coming up with black screens that work with Mighty Channels. I have updated all the CIOS's as mentioned.

We Dare don't work with r417. I erased my settings and cache, tried diferent cios but nothing. The game freezes after you choose the avatar and before start the minigame. Before r388 works fine.

does the latest version support midi pro adapter by any chance? it'd be awesome to not have to take the batteries out of the wiimote to turn it off every time i boot up rock band

Just changed from WiiFlow 2.1 to 2.5, does it not recognize WBFS partitions anymore? Only able to select from either the SD card or an NTSC partition on the same hard drive. There wasn't any problems before the change to 2.5

I updated to r417 and installed the wad pack for the d2x cios from the wiki at the same time..
Wiiflow now refuses to see games in the wbfs folder on my ntfs drive, which worked perfectly fine before.
I got rid of the folder and tried to install a game to the drive using wiiflow, which worked fine until it got to 90%, where it started taking half an hour to do each remaining %, but when I plugged my drive into my computer the wbfs folder, and game, was nowhere to be seen.
I tried the same thing with usb loader gx and everything worked as it should. I really like Wiiflow and want to continue using it.
Drive is 1TB By the way.
Can anybody help me?

I cannot download forwarders from the wiki page, it says "this site is not for viewing and redirects to the main page. I am still on R228 and was gonna do a big update.

I tried R417 but says it is 3.0 aplha, so I went to the stable folder and got r374 which says it is 2.2 and my older forwarder works with it. Is there some where we can see what revision number is what version, like r374 is 2.2 etc

Also with the d2x cIOS v7 is it needed over the d2x cIOS v6? If not I might just wait for the beta to finish.

Nice work with everything guys, it is amazing the amount and quality of stuff for the Wii.

I've just upgraded my old wiiflow installation to current b417. I also upgrade d2x cios to v7 beta using wad pack.
I'd like to load game covers located on my ntfs hdd. How can I do? I tried to set paths in wiiflow.ini but it doesn't work, maybe I'm using the wrong name for disk (tried usb:/images... or ntfs:/images..).
I also tried to launch a couple of games but it crashes. Do I need to clean something like wiitdb file or cache or something else?
Thank you

I'm not exactly sure when it became nessesary for d2x v7 but i know for sure that 417 version does need d2xv7 as that version auto detects the cios now it needs for the games.
So you do not have to switch it in the game settings anymore.

Do a clean install. You can keep your cover folders but delete everything else.

delete the following:

root:/apps/wiiflow/wiiflow.ini
root:/wiiflow/settings (folder)
root:/wiiflow/cache/lists (folder)

when r417 is booted the first time, it will recreate these....
