On one of my other threads, someone told me the only way to play GBA games on my DS/3DS is to get a game specific emulator..
Do any of those actually exist? Can I get one?

I realize now that I probably can't ask where to get it, but if someone can tell me what they're called, it'd be appreciated.

If you have a Super Card DSTWO you can play GBA games
And if you're an ambassador you'll get 10 free ones as Virtual Console
I have no idea what a game specific emulator is, but Megaman Zero Collection does come to mind as it's a port of all the GBA megaman zero games

I think I read somewhere on GBAtemp that someone was working on a GBA emulator for the DS, however it didn't run games at full speed (well, since the DS by itself doesn't have enough power to emulate it by itself or so I heard), so far the only one that would work for the 3DS would be the Supercard DSTwo, and although I'd love to play some gba games on my 3DS, I can just play them on my PC with smoothed sprites since it's cheaper. xP

(And yeah, I also keep getting those HTML errors, guess the site is having some server problems)

You are right, Ichichfly was/is working on s DS GBA emulator, here's the thread:

I think that was a proof-of-concept, since he said it will never run commercial games and will only slowly run homebrew.

Okay just so you know this guy means an emu specifically for (example) Pokemon Ruby, Golden Sun etc.
So each game is just (uhh) remade/emulated for the DS.

i wondered if there was something similarto the nes emulator that lets you compile the rom into a nds file i forget the name of the emulator but it comes with moonshell i think ,i have used it before to compile nes game roms to nds files
i have a scdatwo ,but i also thought that i read there was another card that a gba emulator could run on besides the dstwo,ex4i ,and iplayer ,
i cant remember what it was though

and no you mean you NOT part of the 1% ,if you were you would be a multi billionaire
