DAMN SCIENCERS, WHY CAN'T THEY SEE THE TRUTH! EVERYTHING MUST BE CREATED TO EXIST!*

* Disclaimer : Even thought everything must be created to exist God is not included in this as God is uncreated. Yours (not so) Sincerely, Religion.

The "hot and batshit-fucking-insane" combo is a competitive advantage and it's heavily selected for.

I like what Miss Kentucky said (it's the more sensed of all).
And I think teachers shouldn't teach what they don't know, it isn't proved then you don't teach it as a fact. Damn, I hate Darwin's theory thinking species can jumped to another species. evolution =/= mutation.

I also liked what Miss Nevada said : it's not necessarily about species evolution. But talking about a group or a country evolution is just called history lessons...

Evolution is a fact though. Comparing what we know now to what Darwin first wrote in Origin of the Species is like comparing an iPhone to the telegraph. Through fossil records, DNA comparative analysis and long term research and study it's been proven that we, and all other species on the planet, have got here through a series of evolving changes. Yes there is still missing information and there is still more to learn, but that doesn't stop evolution being a fact. Of course there's always room for error and there's always the opportunity to prove it wrong, but that's the beauty of science. It's always open to new evidence and change. However, all the evidence at hand points towards evolution being a fact.

Here's a very basic explanation from the late great Carl Sagan. You could also try looking into Richard Dawkins. Dawkins can be a bit of an ass but he has an immense amount of knowledge on the subject.

And here's a Dawkins lecture.

edit : Oh, and if you don't mind doing a bit of reading I highly recommend this book.
