Only game I know of with hats is Valve Hat Simulator 2009.

Hat jokes are old and unfunny. I just went on a whole rant on this in the shoutbox.

The game is a FPS, not a hat collector, but most players tend to see it the other way around. The game has gone half to shit since they released hats.

You mean since they added a boatload of new content and gave players something to strive for other than "just shooting people". I don't play it for hats, I play it for fun, and hats are just a status symbol to strive for. I'm getting sick of people whining about TF2 "changing" so much when all they did was add a lot more new content for free. New weapons, maps, and yes, hats. You're not forced to make them or buy them, they're completely optional.

But I digress, that's a different discussion for a different day.

I really don't see the appeal in a lot of these 2D platformers nowadays. They seem like nothing worth paying $60 for honestly when I have a whole selection of classic oldies for a lot less.
