Hacking I don't know how to update my 3DS XL firmwares

Hi, i'm new here and i need help to update my modded 3DS XL i just got as a gift, i REALLY don't want to brick it, and the console and the mod is really outdated, which means some apps i want to install on it (like the hshop) may not work, and some known modded 3DS apps are even missing (like FBI, Universal Updater, etc). So what do i do?

Seems like an A9LH installation. Relevant page of the guide:

This should only take a few minutes and be safe for the console.

It worked! Thank you so much! I still haven't done the finalizing setup because i need to go to school, but i'll do it asap.

If those apps were on your home menu before and have suddenly vanished, then you may have an SD card problem. See https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/3DS:Missing_Titles .
