download love-nx
put in your SD Card: `/switch/love2d/love.nro`
download the latest Gen1Recomp .love file
put in your SD Card renamed as: `/switch/love2d/game.love`
Generate your assets file on PC, downloading the PC executable and creating a portable.txt in the project folder, this way all assets will be generated on the project folder (assets, blue, data, rom-cache.complete and portable.txt )
Get all this folders/files and copy to your SD Card in: `/switch/love2d/pokemon-love2d/`

Mods also works, you only need to create a `mod` folder and paste your extracted mod in the folder.

Thank you this worked! Obviously voxel isn't working because of lag but the game runs fine otherwise. I had actually tried the portable.txt method but didn't know I needed to make the pokemon-love2d folder and put it all in there so it didn't work when I moved it all over the first time. It works now tho!

now Gen1Recomp has a proper .nro version.
That can import and export things natively.
On my testing with a bit of OC, it can handle Voxel.

Would anyone be able to port the Gen 1 Recomps for Pokémon? I tried using Love2D to do it, but it won't let me pick the rom once I open the program.

Do we maybe need a pinned thread explaining how to copy >4GB files to fat32? With the newer emulators around it's coming up a lot.

Isn't that just "Use USB Transfer Tool included with Atmosphere"? I guess only Mac users need to put an effort since Apple protects them from wonders of MTP.

Any transfer tool today running directly on HOS supports this. Issue is with people who do it via Hekate/sdcard adapter only.

But OP went radio silent a year ago so it's unmaintained. I guess maybe new thread should be created by mod?
