This is only one of multiple occasions where Count Dracula is addressed like that. The actual first name is never mentioned throughout the novel.

That does, however, not rule out the possibility that the character is named (title, first name, last name) Count Count Dracula.

Extra info: Despite being based on Vlad the Impaler (aka Vlad Draculea), it is never mentioned that the first name of the Count is actually Vlad.

It's apparently old news by now (I've been away for some days), but it's not less hilarious: as of current, Clacton now has THIRTY-FOUR candidates (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Clacton_by-election).
Among the known Binface, voters can now also vote for Howling laud Hope, Nick The Incredible Flying Brick and - I swear I'm not making this up - Woke Trump Carrzee.

In terms of winning against Farage, it's certainly not good news (unless one of those clowns changes his/her name to 'Nigel Farage' first ). Those extra contenders will most likely only take away votes from Binface, so on that front it's not.

But did we really expect that guy to win? Farage is Clacton's territory, and...I have to admit I wouldn't exactly be voting for a comedian to rule MY local town (yes...I know. Zelensky's an exception, okay?). So despite a single poll putting the Count ahead, I don't anticipate that outcome if it were an actual election.

But it makes the upcoming result all the more lose-lose for Farage. Anything short of, say, winning 95% of the votes is like a losing popularity contest. And that IS a number that's nibbled at by this parade of extra wannabe-politicians.

Monster Raving Loony Party might draw some protest votes, but the rest of them I doubt will pass double digits. Several of them have zero information whatsoever and wont break single digits.

At the same time, Reclaim are competing with Reform, and if they even vaguely manage that it could seriously weaken them both.

Odds of Binface winning are still low, though. For all the attention Binface has recieved, there may be limited ability to encourage non-Farage voters to show up if their actual preferred party isn't present. And the Tory voters may well support Farage instead.

But its insanely possible. For once the media is not on Farage's side, he has gotten so much free publicity in previous years and now the big story driving attention is a man with a bin. Pair that with Reclaim splitting votes, and it might just happen.

I wouldn't bet against it, but I definitely wouldn't bet for it. Praying to any god that may listen is free, and honestly if Satan offers me a deal I may hear him out
