There's a few Xbox One exclusives I want to play but I'm not sure which console I should get, the One X or the Series X. Or should I just grab a Xbox One S for $70 and be done with it?

Xbox one s is digital only, so you'll be stuck paying digital prices from store fronts. Xbox one x would be a decent choice if cheap enough. If you want "the best" of the Xbox world series x give you modern gaming, with a disc tray if you can find games physically cheaper.

Depends on your goal, if you plan to play Series S and X games then you would want a Series X, if you only want to play Xbox one games then just get a Xbox one, keep in mind Xbox One S is digital only, you want one with drive if you goal is to play disc games.

They had digital only consoles last gen?! I did not know that. The games I'm trying to play are all discs from when I had a base Xbox One.

I have no interest in Series X exclusive games, because none of them are on disc... How much better is the performance on Series X? I'll probably grab a launch model if it's not day and night.

Yeah the Xbox one s was digital only, no disc drive. Get either an Xbox one x, or a series x. Either will fit your needs.

I have an Xbox One S with a disc drive. So clearly there is an alternative model.
