As you may know, I like sonic (just look at my profile picture). But, I also quite like the Wii U. it's sad the Wii U doesn't have many Sonic homebrew ports. That being said, I'm making a call to anyone who knows about Wii U homebrew development, GX2, and general topics so we can all work together to get some sonic on the U. I myself have been working on a few, I forked RSDKv4 Wii U and improved it, I'm working on a Sonic 3 A.I.R. Wii U port, a SA2 port (and soon SA1 when the decomp releases,) and a SRB2 port. If YOU want to see more sonic on the U, and YOU know someone who is confident in their skills of making Wii U homebrew, (or you are that person,) I'm looking for people to build this out faster and better, so we can start potential new ones too. If you know WUT, devkitPPC, or GX2 and want to see more Sonic on the U, join the discord. Thank you for reading!
BTW, the team name is Act One

I will also dump my ports here as they're finished.

Would you know if it's possible to play Sonic 1 Forever and Sonic 2 Absolute with Aroma? I saw a Reddit post about Forever and Absolute on the Wii U, using the pre existing ports, but I think it was on Tiramisu considering the Homebrew Launcher.

Also (Regardless of Forever and Absolute), can you help me out? I've installed the Sonic 1 and 2 ports on my Wii U, and they work - But the audio doesn't. They're both completely silent. Any advice?

EDIT: I just tried your own Sonic ports, and Sonic 1 and 2 just booted to a black screen, even though I can still go to the Wii U home menu. But the 3 A.I.R. and Advance 2 ports worked great. (Yes, I added the Data.RSDK files for 1 and 2.) Why won't 1 and 2 work?

because sonic 1 and 2 have different folder structure from their derived ports. their rsdk goes in the root of the sd
create a folder called Sonic1 and Sonic2 at the root of your sd, then put your rsdks in there. the game should boot up fine then
