What are some essential homebrew programs for the switch that I'm missing?
Already have:

  • Ultrahand
  • HB-App-Store
  • sys-patch
  • sys-clk
  • sys-tune
  • ovl-sysmodules
  • ftpd
  • NxThemes Installer & Themezer
  • SimpleModManager & SimpleModDownloader
  • JKSV
  • SwitchWave

What does Horizon OC do better than sys-clk?
Horizon OC is a more modern and advanced sys-clk. It gives you more control and configs overclocking CPU, GPU and RAM. As well as voltage control (undervolting/overvolting), memory timing adjustments, and more advanced clock and power-management settings.

sys-clk is fine if you want a simpler and more fool-proof overclock, but you won't get the full capability of your console from what it offers.

Pico if you’re into emulating. Ftpd for wireless transfer from pc. Daybreak for updates and goldleaf. I have a switch lite and fizeau is a must if you don’t have the OLED version

Never thought pico 8 existed on the switch. Is fake-08 a good pico 8 emulator?
Out of all open source emulators I would say it has the highest compatibility. It also exists as a Libretro core so you even have save states in Pico-8 (something you don't with the official emulator).
There's no Splore in FAKE08 though for obvious reasons.
