Hacking NSW. Installing DLCs makes game stop working

Hi,

Let me first say, I own a couple of NSW consoles one that I use at home with everything perfectly licensed & another one I carry when traveling which is running Atmosphere 1.11.0 Hekate 6.5.2 & Sigpatch FW 22.0.0 & Firmware 22.0.0 (whatever this may means). When I install Captain Toad from the xci and Captain_Toad_Treasure_Tracker_Update_v1.4.2 the games launches just fine.
However when I install the DLCs (Special_Episode_DLC and/or Captain_Toad_Treasure_Tracker_Special_Episode_v1.2.0_DLC) the game stop launching and says it requires an update.
I usually use DBI and install games through MTP.

Any idea what I could do to make this working ?

You can just make the game stop asking for updates with dbi go to the game an in options theres the option

I thought updates were cumulative. I installed the latest update I know of (v1.4.2). I will try the dbi option.

They are, but the DLC has to match the update version. Sometimes the DLC content is in the update (or the base game if it's launch day DLC) and the DLC file is just an unlocker and in that case the same unlocker will work with future updates but often that is not the case.
Possible the DLC is actually for an older version of the game and what it actually means is that you need to update the DLC. But because update and dlc nsps don't get consistently released as they come out it may not always be possible to get the latest version. If you look at a scene or p2p release that has an nfo it will usually specify what update version is needed for the DLC to work. But when you download from file sharing sites or shops you don't have this.

This is why these DLCs are not working. I have not seen updates for them. Too bad. Thanks for the info.
