Feedback Hardware Broken outside cameras on 3dsXL - Animal Crossing New Leaf Cheat?

Hello! First time poster so I'm sorry if I mess any of the formatting up..

I've got an O3DS XL with broken outside cameras, at first it was just one of the cameras that was broken (the one that is visibly shattered on the console) but now it seems either one just shows black, I've never really minded and so far it hasn't been too big of an issue ( Using the inside cam in FBI ) but it seems like the whole pattern sharing feature on Animal Crossing New Leaf (Welcome Amiibo) won't work because of this.

What I'm wondering is if there is a possible cheat or ROM Hack that would make the game use the inside cam for scanning QR codes like what FBI does?
What would really be great is if this change could be system wide so that all apps defaulted to the inside cam for scanning QR codes but i realize that's probably not achievable.

If your goal is to add more patterns to your ACNL save data, then it would be much easier to use the ACNL save editor.

I didn't think about doing this, I'll check and see how this works. I doubt that it'll be easier than pointing a camera at a qr code but it might be the only way if it's not possible to alter which camera is being used with cheats. Thanks

I didn't think about this either .. Although even if it is more "cheaty" - if I'm already connected to a PC for Citra i might as well do what Kwyjor suggested and use a save editor. I'll try both though, thank you!
