"Metroid Prime 4: Beyond" leaks one day away from release

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond review - Playing the hits - Hypertext

As it's almost the case with every big Nintendo release, the next big upcoming title from Nintendo, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, has been leaked online ahead of release. However, the leak didn't come in a date that many people expected.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is set to release tomorrow, December 4th, for both Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2, with the Nintendo Switch 1 version of the game having leaked online today. However, in contrast with previous big Nintendo releases, this leak came just a day prior from the official release of the game, while previously, huge Nintendo releases were known to be leaked several days, if not weeks ahead of release, making the title available through unofficial means, and for others, being a source of early spoilers for people that were looking forward to the official release date to experience the game for themselves.

The game also received a recent 1.1.0 update, which seems to be a day one patch, with the patch also being available online already.

Remember, that direct links to ROMs or any kind of illegal copy are not allowed, so discuss the title with the previous warning in mind.

Just a question, is it easy to drop a game with the right software or do you have to be a real hacker to do the job?

"Drop a game"? Do you mean create a game yourself? GDevelop is a very beginner friendly free app to start game creation. Plenty of online tutorials also for it.

Hi!
I bought day 1 physical switch 1 release. But before I receive it (living on a island, long delay), i play a downloaded version on a unpatched switch. That game is cool, what a pleasure to see Samus again. Some problems: I cannot unlock power up, the game said it was unlocked (like psychic glove) but it doesn't show the left hand with 'X', I cannot move some globe or anything. Each time I unlock a new power, I have to download a quick save with this done. What a shame. I use exceptions in SaltySD folder for this game, no cheats.

Can you confirm that version 1.1.0 physical don't have this bug on switch 1 ? I saw it on switch 2 running well.

--edit--: disabled edizon ovl, all ok now

For anyone still wondering about emulators, Citron works flawlessly and you can run in 4K, use the nightly build and increase ram to 10 or 12 and it's smooth and graphics are insane maxed out!

Did you change any other settings? I only have what would be considered a mid laptop but it can play most Switch games and Citron plays it but it makes an occassional freeze and makes a loud noise on my laptop. I don't know if it's just that I need a better computer or if I can change any other settings besides the ram which I tried 10 gb but didn't help.

Nvidia GTX 1650
16 GB Ram
Intel i5-9300h

Edit: I played with some settings but I think I'll have to just stick to playing it on Switch which is fine.

I have a New Ryzen 7 Build Desktop with 64gb of ram and a 16gb GPU.
