21 screws up a lot of homebrew/tweaks so I'm definitely planning on avoiding that.

Still? Seems most everything has been updated to support it at this point. There's 82 things listed at the link below that have been updated. Not sure how many more things people use that would be broken. Can you provide examples of what homebrew/tweaks still aren't working properly? Thank you. :)

Crazy that it took so much time for it to leak lol

But I see FW 21 as being required on the specs ? I'm still going to try and see but I wonder if there will be any solution to that, I would rather prefer to not update anything right now

21.0.0 has even less accessible memory. Would render in problems if you have multiple sysmodules.

I haven't updated in over a year I think I'm on 18 or something. If you guys figure out the firmware can you please post it? I'm going to try an emulator first but I don't want to update to the wrong firmware but it sounds like I don't want 21 either.

Works on 20.0.5 without update. Hearing conflicting reports on if the update truly requires 21 or not.

I'm about to try it on Eden emulator with 20.5 firmware but I guess the update isn't available yet?

Damn 20 minutes to extract I don't have the best most update to date computer.

Hell yes now I hope it works on emulator fully but if not I'll be updating my Switch to 20.5.

playing it fine on 20.5.0.

edit: not used to metroid prime 3D style. Meh overall, dual joystick fps gameplay is as awful as always, and the alternative using the right joycon's accelerometers to move the camera is clunky as fuck (laggy, requires constant ZR reset). Game is also super linear, and looks kinda meh (on NS1 at least). I much prefer metroid dread's 2.5D and overall snappiness.

No. And I wish people would stop saying that. Atmosphere 1.9.5 release notes states: "As a result of changes made to nintendo's software in 20.0.0, there is at least 6MB less memory available for custom system modules. We can only steal a maximum of 14MB from the applet pool, down from 40MB"

Then SciresM specifically stated here that 21.x has 16MB. Not this "4MB!!!!" people have been saying.

i looked at the rom site i visit there it says 21.0.0...but i heard somewhere 19.x
I have 2.0.15 Works fine, might still update to 20.5.0 just to have a new update! But so far the game runs fine.
