For me, it's getting back to the hobby I used to love, and that is soldering. This year has been quite the struggle as I couldn't afford to get new equipment until now where I can finally install that Crystal Chip that's been on the back-end for such a long time into my PS2 since I paid hard earned money for that chip.

Share your thoughts on what you think you can improve or plan on achieving in the coming months. Serious reasons only!

Getting a driver's license, and working towards hopefully getting one of my dream jobs in the future. Rather than working for a company that's based on being dishonest and scamming customers, while barely avoiding bankruptcy.

I wish to also start some new electronics projects again. In February this year I finished a large project of mine that took a very long time, but I haven't really started any new projects since then.

Would also love to travel around the country more frequently again. Haven't really been able to travel much this year, unfortunately.

I guess some of the following, from realistic to less realistic:
  • Drink lots of coffee... I've been upgrading my coffee equipment, and I think I will move further along this path.
  • Lose another 10Kg.
  • Learn more Japanese and be able to move from reading simple manga like Card Captor Sakura or Yubisaku to Renren to reading some simple novels.
  • Perhaps play something from my infinite backlog, I bought Xenoblade 3 on release day, I still don't even touch that game.
  • Go on a trip/vacation to Osaka, but perhaps that's for 2027, I should have upgraded my Japanese enough before this.
  • Do some realistic basic hiking, last time I laughably attempted to hike up to the top of the Preikestolen, didn't even get to the 300m mark of the 4Km long trail.

It wasn't going to be, but now it's frame or bike shopping in the new year. Frame decided to crack right before christmas, so now it's frame shopping or failing that, whole bike shopping. Not what I was planning and honestly has just brought me down before christmas.

Outside of that, I need to get motivated. I still need to swap my 360 over from rgh 2 to rgh 3. I've had the parts since early 2025, I just can't be bothered. Same goes for my Jtag 360, don't really use it anymore, but the wiring could do with a bit of a clean up and just some general maintenance.
