Hey
@eeL20! First of all I need to thank you for this mods/patches. That's some great work right there. I'm finally able to play the regional exclusives without needing to install the NTSC and PAL versions of the games, along with the Chinese exclusives of 2015.
I do need to say that I think Man Down (2014 PAL) tracking is not working correctly. Every time I try to play it, the score of the first move I get is the one I keep getting the entire song. For example, if in the first move I get an X, all the other moves will get me an X. If I get an OK, all the other moves will get me an OK. It doesn't matter, it will be the same thing the entire song.
Also, I'm trying to mod Just Dance 2014, but I think the secure_fat.gf generators I found are not working correctly. I tried the augustodoidin's and Wukko's generators but they make the game unbootable, at least on Wii U (I'm testing them on Cemu before moving to real hardware). On Wii modifications of the game, it works fine. What generator are you using? Do you mind sharing it or, at least share how you fixed it?
I read in this thread that you were using the Wukko's generator, but you changed something about 4 bytes and it was working. I think the generators I have are not working because it generates a 12KB file, considering the ones generated by Ubisoft and by you are around 270KB in size. Using the 12KB one makes the game unbootable. It crashes instantly. Using the one that you generated or not using one at all, also don't work, but at least it crashes right after the Ubisoft intro, making me suspicious about the secure_fat.gf file.
I do need to note that I'm trying to add maps following the Baliandro's tutorial on how to mod Just Dance 2014 for Wii, but making the appropriate changes for Wii U, like higher res menu textures, higher video res on the videoscoach file, higher res pictos and that kind of stuff. I'm also trying to add more things using the game's update, modifying the "Bundle_6_WIIU.ipk", using unpakke to unpack the original one, made by you, adding the map I backported and packing it again. I also changed "patch_WIIU.ipk", to add the correct skuscene, so the maps you backported and the one I backported would show up on the menu, along with the DLCs.
Thanks for making these awesome updates!
EDIT: I found the problem, I was actually just being stupid. I was trying to generate an secure_fat.gf inside the update folder of the game, not on the entire game folder. But still, I'm not able to inject songs into the Wii U version of the game, unlike the Wii version.
As I said before, I'm using Baliandro's video on how to mod Just Dance 2014 for the Wii, but I'm making the adjustments so it looks and run better on Wii U, like textures and renaming the file system from "wii" or "nx" to "wiiu", but I guess something (maybe a tool? idk) is exporting in a way only the Wii versions of the game can read. I'm also getting the Switch (nx) mainscenes, directly from Ubi servers and backporting them (or trying to).
I've managed to change the files of an already existing song, by editing a "bundle_XX_WIIU.ipk", but it didn't work. The game did not crash, but nothing of that song, except for the preview audio, which played correctly, nothing worked/loaded at all. That makes me think the problem is not with the secure_fat.gf file anymore. Do you have any idea of what can be causing these issues? Would you happen to know the differences between a Wii and a Wii U map, except for the resolution of the textures/videocoach, but like, if something is serialized or encrypted in a different way or even if there's Wii U specific tools for modding Just Dance?
