Been trying for the past few hours to locate a fix and have nothing, any help would be so greatly appreciated.

This appears to be a case of total save corruption, usually caused by a forced shutdown while the autosave process was recording information, such as during a cutscene, pokemon evolution etc

I tried to trade with myself but the second instance of Ryu kept loading a a new game for some reason...

Yeah I believe the 2nd time you open the emu it picks a different profile its under options then user profile. Im copying my save file to the 2nd profile to see if it will work or I will need to use a different save file to do it.

Ok so how does it work trading with yourself? Can you use 2 same saves of your game?

you can use the same save but you need two proflies just copy your save from your main profile into the new one

I just got all the trades done apparently you need to do at least 5 trades for the research task to be fully done.

the game need to runs once till the title screen on the new profile before stopping emulation. make you are selecting mange save from the profiles setting for each profile.

try to boot your game. what happens? only a black screen or theres some system info showing on?

Then go to the network settings, and turn on RyuLDN.

Then trade like you normally would.

Well for me the 2nd instance crashes when loading the game, even with the 2nd user profile. Probably also need to configure each game instance separately.

Not sure, I just opened another instance and all my same settings and stuff were the same under the second profile. Just click and go.
