So still the USA
No, an actual homicidal dictator. Can you at least say both are homicidal dictators if you're going to let your TDS get in the way?

Can we agree Maduro is a homicidal dictator or no?

g boat. Alleged by Donald Trump.
Umm... you really think DJT knew there was a boat there and decided to make a phone call, telling the military to go blow it up? That's what you think? Not military intel personnel sent to the region, working on all 3 ships in the area, telling him that THEY made a positive identification? :rofl2:

I was gonna mention this but it was just so ridiculous that I assumed he was trolling. Some people out here have no idea how the military works, he has to be European or lives in a country protected at our expense.

You mean good things like violating international law? Your arguments are weak. Just gonna leave this here: https://theintercept.com/2025/09/05...at-strike-was-a-criminal-attack-on-civilians/

Go and educate yourself.
Educate myself on what? I do not care if this was "legal" or not, I do not care what people who live all the way across the sea think about it or whether you find it offensive or not.

11 scumbag drug dealers are feeding fish at the bottom of the sea, and American lives are saved. That is all I care about.

I promise you that the opinion of someone who defends genocidal dictators is worth less than dirt to me. You are defending people who have killed, tortured and terrorized so many people that it is incredible you have to balls to talk about empathy at all. Go ask the people of Venezuela how they feel about this "attack". They are celebrating.

^ MAGA in a nutshell.

If the boat was a drug boat, as someone who doesn't like drugs, I'd be glad they were killed. But we're not law enforcement, and don't just get to gloss over extrajudicial killings because it makes us happy they're gone.

The ex-president of the Philippines is in custody at The Hague just for this type of thing.

1. Research for lesser addictive / less lethal substitutes
2. A solid public Healthcare
3. A solid public education about drugs, their effects and consequences of frequent usage
4. Strict border control
#3 is not enough to make people stop drinking alcohol so...

I really don't know how to solve the issue of humans being so harmful to themselves, but those are not nearly enough.
Maybe there is no solution but to let people be completely free and die on their addictions instead of trying to police it, no matter how immoral that may sound.

Venezuela is not an actual country, it's a failed narcostate (not uncommon fate of leftist government, let's call it "late stage socialism"),
And this is the current sad close fate of us here in Brazil and I'd bet of the whole of South America + Mexico.
We're all doomed.
The exact quote from that article:
“The U.S. is now directly targeting civilians. Drug traffickers may be criminals but they aren’t combatants,”

I mean.... Is that your best argument against what has been done? Really?
Edit:

Just to clarify, I don't like how he nuked people in the middle of nowhere either. This should never be acceptable.
Detaining and investigating is one thing, bypassing the whole process is objectively wrong.
Even you @Majunior, should realize the consequences of this. Imagine if you were being set up.

That said, I don't like DJT nor what he does, but he seems like a better alternative than the leftist crazy train.

Anyone condemning this action on Venezuela has no idea what's like to live in an actual narcostate.
In my very own city I'd get killed just by taking the wrong turn, no questions asked.

You can hate Trump but like what he's doing as a whole, even if his motivations are clearly not "war on drugs", that's BS.
If anything, he'll either take over the cartel or the Venezuelan Oil, he's not doing this for the good of his people or the people in Venezuela.

Which checks out because everyone condemning this action lives in a first world country. The funny thing is that I know a lot of Venezuelans (probably south americans in general) who absolutely loathe these first world progressives who don't know what it's like to wake up at 5am for a chance to buy meat while the children of their politicians in charge have private meetings with Justin Bieber

I think this is an awesome move and it's about time Maduro gets what is coming to him, earlier yesterday one of his drug smuggling boats was blown to bits by the US.

It's not just a cartel, the whole Venezuelan government is the cartel, they do have boats, planes, and a lot of resources, and they're killing a lot of Americans while Maduro gets richer and richer, on top of ruling over a country that didn't even elect him. Imagine if the Mexican cartels, which are already massive, were being puppetered by the Mexican government.
this has to be illegal according to rules of war the equivalent to execute first never detain, to put it another way it's like police killing a suspect before giving a command to surrender i worry about that mindset comming to the US no wonder i'm paranoid

Another first world take that I'm sure Venezuelans really value.

Gotta disagree here. This could easily be twisted for evil purposes.
Just like Putin "suicides" his rivals.
No need to go that far across the world, Maduro already does this.

No one here will condemn the fact the Maduro regime already does extra-judicial killings and detainments though.

...yeah we do? Do you think we like Maduro because he comes out of the socialist school of Chavez?

Saying something is skipping international law is not an equivalent of being in favor of a dictator

You are the first person to do it in this thread, Ansem outright refused to say it when asked directly, the other JDV lover guy writes walltexts defending his regime, I don't know.

Realistically what do you think is the play here? The US has already tried to deter these boats from coming and it has not worked, only direct action works.

Not gonna be a first world country for much longer with how the pedo-in-chief is running it.
Economically I mean. Socially the US is already a third world country. But you will never have to endure what Venezuelans endure just to eat because of how resilient the US dollar is. You are even less likely to become a third world country than a lot of European countries.
