Putin IS popular, he was popular before war time and has become even more so, so has Zelensky. I'm starting to realize you know very little about geopolitics, or have been massively brainwashed.

Non-stop propaganda IS effective, but even Putin would only take some 60% of the vote if the elections in Russia were legitimate. Hell, he was too scared to run against Navalny at all, so he had him killed instead.

To be fair the problem in Russia is that there is no one who could realistically challenge Putin. He does have a lot of detractors, but those detractors just don't bother showing up to elections, which makes Putin seem more popular than he is. But he is popular to begin with, enough to win elections comfortably.
Sorry for the late edit, but that's exactly why Putin had Navalny killed. Was too scared to even allow him to run, despite the fact that the Kremlin fully controls the outcome.

Ignoring the political board, or the folks calling you out? Your posts amount to responding to others in this section of GBATemp regarding Trump, facism, etc. If you stop yourself from being on the political board or go ignoring everyone that posts in this section, then you've basically cut yourself off from the reason you made this account. That's why you haven't done it already like an actual new account.
Which is a condemnation of those that do still support him after all the war crimes he's committed against his own formerly-allied nation. It would be exactly like if Trump invaded Canada or Mexico for no good reason (there is no good reason that anyone could possibly formulate anyway.)
I can't comment as I've never lived there/visited, but for all either of us know, the brutalist police state is much worse than the occasional gang violence popping up. It's always a struggle and/or balance between authoritarianism and libertarianism; I much prefer the latter for obvious reasons.
I think people in ES disagree. It's also very obvious who the gang members are, they had the previous presidents under their pockets, they wear obvious gang tattoos, they did their activities in the open. When a president that actually opposed them was finally elected, it was very easy to round them up. The same policies would probably not work as well in the US.
