I see your first sentence as a non sequitur, what does the fact that he was born in Bethlehem have to do with warning about the dangers of wealth and materialism, and what does the whole sentence have to do with the topic at hand?

He said love another in the sense that you have to wish the best for the other, and treat them as well as you would treat yourself. I love homosexuals and there are even some in my parish. Christ also said "go and sin no more" so they're all welcome, I'll eat with them but they can't be in communion (eat the body and blood of Christ) with us if they persist in their sin. These are the rules of the Orthodox Church, established by Christ.

Your last sentence I don't get. Almost all Christians up to very recently in our modern era were nationalists, nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn't turn into WWI and II nationalism, which was largely atheistic nationalism where your national identity was the most important thing about you. As a Christian, I reject that, obviously.
