If someone is calling you a Nazi, I'll vouch for you.I think the "debate" for some, such as there is one, is not that anyone "wants Nazis here." As you said, "No shit!" The issue is, whether someone here qualifies is the Admin's call (ultimately) and not everyone else. If you think another member's post violates this or any other rule, report it and let the mod deal with it. But non-staff members calling other members a Nazi/fascist, whether directly or by inference, should be just as bannable an offense. And it happens here all day, every day. Nobody here should be getting these immature smears thrown at them.
This is a privately owned website, just like every private property, the owner is free to kick you out if they hate your vibe, whether you like it or now. This thread is pointless. "Oh I'm a Nazi that wants to break the rules. I suppose this thread has corrected me."

So you bitch about the site not making any money and now you're threatening to ban people who disagree with your politics. Bruh.
Every Nazi I’ve pointed out turned out to be a Nazi. I can’t speak for other members but I’ve had a good hit rate on this one.
I do believe people misuse the terms far too often and even jump the gun. However, an average person seeing obvious Nazism, should call it out. I don’t think you are a Nazi, even if have a lot of disagreements with you.
If someone is calling you a Nazi, I'll vouch for you.
You have to admit that there's been a HUGE uptick in people being more than comfortable either parroting nazi propaganda, or flat-out saying that they're Nazis. The entire Groyper movement is basically that. I think its mostly young and dumb guys who enjoy the negative attention, or they've been feeding off the internet hate all this time, and this is the final outcome.
Deploying military to LA? 'Sure, we hate LA!' Using the military in DC? 'Well, he's legally allowed to' (....If there's a true emergency). Abducting American citizens off the street?
Going after his political enemies like Bolton and law firms?
I don't know if just attending meetings is the differentiator here. Someone can be an absolute horrible person spouting Nazi rhetoric, completely believe what they're saying, and has never organized. But a 400lb geek incel in his bedroom looking to cause outrage for attention by saying offensive things isn't a nazi. That's just a loser. When they start attending meetings, well then ya got something.
Had to look that one up. So the ATF went in to serve a warrant for weapons violations and child abuse to a religious group, which lead to a shootout. Then there was an insanely long standoff for 51 days which was taken over by the FBI. It sounds more like law enforcement overreach more than anything. That wouldn't constitute precedent. For the timing, the ATF raid was given the go-ahead under George H Bush, and then the FBI took over after the raid failed. After that, Clinton took over the mess, but passed it off to Reno to take care of.Ever heard of Waco?
This one also doesn't set precedent for the takeover of a city. They're totally different legal frameworks. But Waco and Ruby Ridge can both be compared to each other for how NOT to take care of standoffs. Also the timing for Ruby Ridge was under George H Bush, not Clinton.Ruby Ridge?
I remember that one a bit. But that was also not the same as taking people off the street because they look brown. The kid was on a raft half alive and was given to his uncle in Florida. His father wanted him back in Cuba, which caused all the issues.Elian Gonzalez?
Democrats have precedent for all that. Republicans too. Nixon with the students shot by Natl Guard at Kent State, for example. Nothing Trump has done is really "new," just for different reasons this time. (And, ironically, those previous instances are giving him some legal cover now.)
Besides the DOJ going after Trump (With more than enough evidence to do so), did they go after law firms? Did they threaten Universities to do as they're told? Did they force companies to sell a huge stake of the company to the government? Did they do meeting with Biden to ooze compliments on him like every other dictator of the world?I don't know if you were watching but there was a helluva lot of that in 2021-2024 as well.
I never said you were a nazi in that post.I've been here 20 years. You think I'm a Nazi? Report me. But if the mod disagrees, it's YOU that should be banned.
So let me get this straight. If I said Jews are the problem with society, and that white people were the superior race, that doesn't make me a nazi...it's only when I start organizing with others to do something about it to where you think "ok, maybe he's a nazi" and even then you'd be skeptical. Why are you so caught up on real nazis only being the most extreme, cartoonish idea of one possible? It's like when racists say racism ended with the civil rights movement and it's only racist when you're trying to take those civil rights away. But a 400lb geek incel in his bedroom looking to cause outrage for attention by saying offensive things isn't a nazi. That's just a loser. When they start attending meetings, well then ya got something.
Yep, the fact that the world has basically become numb to the far right being comfortable enough with outwardly saying they're Nazis is so disheartening. I'm sure we've all seen that Mehdi Hasan video on that Jubilee video, and the outward joy of those people admitting they're fascist right on camera! It's insane! The whole point of intolerance to nazi rhetoric is to prevent it from ever getting to that point. Preventing your "disagreements" and "alternate ideas" from having a platform prevents your ideas from spreading and having the ability to reach like-minded people in the first place. We literally have Hitler apologists and Holocaust deniers in the White House right the fuck now, all because of this idea that not allowing that shit to have a platform (on privately-owned websites) is somehow a front to freedom of speech and is an act of censorship.

I am all for free speech, in the literal sense that you cannot be arrested or legally punished for the things you say in a public space. But there are very few "public spaces". You are not entitled to free speech in a privately-owned building, any other privately-owned property, or any privately-owned websites (which is most of them), and they can legally remove you from the premises if they don't like your speech and you refuse to leave. This is fair and just. The only places you are entitled to free speech are either on the sidewalk or on your own property. But free speech is a foundational tenet of western culture and a constitutionally guaranteed right in my country, and I'm wondering where you stand on that?
I am all for free speech
And yes, I am aware that they still can exploit it by pressuring those private owners to not allow or air certain kinds of speech, and that's exactly what our glorious leader is doing right now.

You know, I respect that. You alright, mate, you alrightThank you. I expect most people here to disagree with me on political issues, that doesn't bother me at all. Nor does it make me like you or anyone less, if disagreement is all there is to it. I'm 58 years old for chrissakes, of course I have different opinions.
Where does this expectation that privately owned forums have to allow 100% free speech come from?So what I’m reading is that this is a dictatorship and if we don’t comply with what you say and want, we get banned? Pretty backwards if you ask me.
1. Erika McEntarfer being fired after releasing the weak jobs report. What's being censored? That crazy Democracy Now! cat lady is ragin' strong every day on the hippie radio station I listen to.
How about the multiple defamation lawsuits Trump has filed to news organizations and social media websites for spreading "lies" about him and "falsely" fact-checking his bullshit, just for the sake of bullying them and draining their funding dry through legal fees if they don't comply? How about how he's pressured Paramount the same way into silencing Stephen Colbert, and in case you genuinely believe that was a coincidence or purely economical, now Jon Stewart? And although technically PBS isn't privately-owned, the slashing of their funding for being "biased" is a symptom of the same disease. What's being censored? 4chan. For some reason these people think that if 4chan allows it, every website should allow it. These people see 4chan (or worse, 8chan) as somehow being this shining example of free speech on the internet.Where does this expectation that privately owned forums have to allow 100% free speech come from?
A new day, a new stomping on free speech:How about the multiple defamation lawsuits Trump has filed to news organizations and social media websites for spreading "lies" about him and "falsely" fact-checking his bullshit, just for the sake of bullying them and draining their funding dry through legal fees if they don't comply? You could probably handwave each example of Trump bullying private companies as not being rooted in censorship and being purely based on law or business, and that's precisely what this administration wants you to think.

Another stupid executive order to clog up the system. Dude really making it too obvious that he’s in the Epstein filesA new day, a new stomping on free speech:

You're right, I should have clarified. I meant you are not entitled to not being arrested for your political views outside of those scenarios (or rather, refusing to leave the premises due to your political views). Still, the point is that you can be kicked out of and banned from private property for literally any reason. Doesn't have to be because you're disturbing the peace or inciting a riot. You can be refused service for any reason, including if they just don't like you. And again, this is fair and just. Those who argue against that for the sake of "free speech" are simultaneously protesting against property rights.People are allowed 100% freedom of speech EVERYwhere. Including private web sites, private property, etc. The thing is, freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences for using that freedom. That includes your own property and a public sidewalk. There are things like disturbing the peace, public drunkenness, inciting a riot, etc. that can lawfully get you arrested ANYWHERE for your speech alone.

Let’s be absolutely clear.
Fascism and nazism have no place on this forum. We will not tolerate hateful ideologies rooted in supremacy, violence, and the dehumanization of others. If you identify with or promote fascist or nazi views, you are not welcome here. This community will not be a safe haven for intolerance, hate speech, or historical revisionism that seeks to minimize or justify the atrocities committed under these ideologies.
This is not up for debate.
Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences, and it does not give you the right to poison this space with dangerous rhetoric. There is no “just a different opinion” when that opinion denies the humanity of others or seeks to revive ideologies responsible for some of the worst crimes in human history.
We are committed to fostering a space that is open, diverse, and respectful. That means:
Additionally:
- No displaying of fascist or nazi symbols, slogans, or sentiments
- No support for authoritarianism, racial supremacy, or hate groups
- No coded language or dog whistles meant to disguise extremist ideologies
- No glorification of regimes or figures associated with fascism or nazism
We are drawing a line. If you find yourself on the wrong side of it, you are free to leave—or you will be removed.
- Stay civil and open-minded when engaging with others, especially when they come from different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, or life experiences. You do not have to agree with everyone, but you must treat others with basic human decency.
- This is a diverse community. And that diversity is a strength, not a threat.
First offenders will be given an immediate 7-days suspension (I am looking at you "bobbytomorow") and subsequent offenses will result in a permanent ban.
If you do not agree with this, you are invited to leave this place immediately.
