Still waiting for a Xenoverse 2 Switch 2 update...
Just quoting you for the purpose of my comment, but to anyone saying this and similar regarding any NIntendo game besides Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment:

Did you truly expect a Partner Showcase - a version of Nintendo Direct focused specifically on games from THIRD-PARTY DEVELOPERS AND PUBLISHERS (HW:AoI technically counts, due to being a collaborative project with KOEI TECMO, just like the other WARRIORS games that use Nintendo's IPs*) - to have anything regarding Nintendo's first-party titles? They have never shown any first-party games during a Partner Showcase, and I highly doubt they ever will.

If they didn't announce something related to first-party games during the previous Nintendo Direct (i.e. the one before the Switch 2 release), it's likely not happening any time before winter - at least not in a significant enough way for Nintendo to shove it into a third-party-focused Direct. You're just gonna have to wait until the next general Nintendo Direct if it's important enough for a Direct (i.e. assuming, say, Switch 2 versions of the Xenoblade games don't just get shadow-dropped without any fanfare, in which case you'd only know it's happened if there's suddenly an update that needs to be downloaded).

*(Edit: Funny enough, while internationally Nintendo handles publishing of the Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors titles, in Japan it's KOEI TECMO that handles publishing. And because of this, like I said, Age of Imprisonment technically counts as being part of the Partner Showcase.)

YEEESSS PAC-MAN WORLD 2 IS GETTING A REMAKE!!
That's my favorite in the trilogy ;D
And they brought back Martin T. Sherman too!?
SOLD! DAY ONE!
MIGHT PRE-ORDER IF IT'S AT A DECENT PRICE!
AAAAAND PRE-ORDERED!
(If you already bought the first game's remake on the same platform, you'll get a Toc-Man costume for free!)

There was nothing special during this showcase for me....
Monster Hunter Stories 3...okay maybe...but give us a real story not a boring childish discussion this time. And no gameplay at all during the presentation...weird.
Persona 3...uglier...laggy and slow already during corridor...game key card....no dlc inclued...no thank you, I just keep my Pc version and the "portable" version on my switch.
Game where you start a fire....are you kidding me? I seriously laugh during the video...it's just a mini game at best, we are in 2025 and I just bought a 440 euros device....out of my sight with that! Not now!
I have better games than PAC MAN 2 to do cause the first one didnt convince me at all...
FF Tactics is too pricy for what SE just done and seriously ... outfit DLC in a game like that! Have you gone mad SE?
Most of the other games are repeatition, already seen, already playable in other platform, most are better on pc and at lesser price...like persona or dbz...
The HD-2D A- rpg elliot thing is weird, it feels off, like an amateurish attempt....something is also wrong with the point of view or the size scale with scenery... and sadly we cant try the demo without updating the console..;
Octopath traveler O is build on the gasha/free to play mobile game so even if SE said they will rewrite a lot of thing, it's a no for me cause I dont really like this saga anyway...
And at last, about Romancing Saga 2 remake, it's really a great game, I really recommand it to you if you are fan of epic Rpg with some reflexion, good exploration and a good PS2 vibes feeling....
And Xeen inc studio really works a lot to make it fun and accessible to players unlike the original SAGA franchise...

BUT! WTF is this upgrade pack at 10 euros just to have access to the higher resolution and 60 fps option! You cant do that! These option are "free" on Pc and console when patched...It's not my fault and responsability if the switch 1 was too weak to perform this game right BEFORE!I have bought this console 1.5 ver. 440 euros, I have done my part of the deal seriously...
Are we gonna pay 10 euros/dollars for every switch 1 game badly port now ? I will burn my switch before that...
Totally insane! They didnt add anything! Just unlocking the option, you can try the demo it's better now but at what cost?!

Can't tell if this is a serious comment, the physical Switch 2 version is an empty cart with a license to download the game so don't see the point buying it.

every 3rd party is doing game key cards... guess my switch 2 collection will be 1/4 than my switch collection at best, at least i can get pac man world 2 regular switch version and octopath traveler 0 since they are actual physical releases i guess.

You could tell most publishers don't have dev kits by the fact half the Direct was Square Enix
Either that or they don't want them! Maybe my not putting their games on the console, will make Nintendo build a better system, to where they don't have to go backwards and downgrade their games to run on it.

Okay, that was my mistake. Given people keep saying they were hoping for things Nintendo-related, I saw your comment and read it as "Xenoblade 2". ...Because people keep asking for Switch 2 versions of Nintendo's games, even during Directs or events that have nothing to do with Nintendo's 1st-party IPs.

That being said, I doubt there's going to be a Switch 2 Edition of Xenoverse 2. And given how Bandai Namco's been handling the Dragon Ball games lately, a Switch 2 "upgrade" likely wouldn't change much of anything anyway, outside of maybe loading times. I would not be surprised if they charged for it, too (or require you to have specific DLC purchased before it will let you upgrade).

They added Series X and PS5 versions which run at 4K. So I'm hoping they'll make a Switch 2 version that runs at at least 1080p60 and without map details removed.
