The PS2 Modchip Archive has everything you need to install modchips into your PlayStation 2, whether it's common or unknown, this has you covered.
Do you have a chip that you just don't know what it is? You keep roaming from forum-to-forum asking the same question and nobody has an idea. You start going through the Wayback Machine and you think you have found the diagram for your chip, only to hit a dead-end. Well, this has it all in one place, every piece of information that is hard-to-find.
(For over 2-years as of writing, this GitHub repository has accumulated over 150+ diagrams, source code, firmware updates, and much more.)
Even contributions coming from leading manufacturers that were a part of the modchip industry, such as Team DMS and H2o.
How can I contribute?
Do you have any diagram/s or any of the above that fit the criteria? If they do not exist in the repository, then you are more than welcome to create an issue with included files so that it can be added.Greetings:
- DMS3 FPGA source code and Messiah 2 source code, courtesy of asmblur.
- H2o modchip source code and gerber files, courtesy of summ0ne.
- PCB design/soldering assistance and documentation from AtherisMods.
- Crystal Chip R34 V5, a continuation of the Crystal Chip Boot Manager and Firmware by R3Z3N.
- Crystal Chip Team for developing an incredibly stable and amazing modchip.
- Will's Console Modifications for his PS2 modchip showcase wiki.
- Thanks to PS2 Modchip Tutorials and GBAtemp for promoting this repository.
