Is there a list of controls that work on Retroarch? I tested a Ps2 control with a USB adapter the other day, Retroarch identified the adapter, but none of the buttons work and the Gamepad's analog sticks stop working.

I'm not too sure about PS2 controllers but most Bluetooth Controllers will work fine on WiiU RA thanks to Bloopair.
IIRC there are also plans to port Hid2Vpad to Aroma, hopefully once that's done connecting Hid Controllers/adapters should be easy on WiiU RA.

Some usb hid devices arent autoconfigured at all with RA for Wii U.
If the controller/adapter is detected, you can try remap it with another working controller under settings/input/port 2 control.

Thanks. Is this possible to compile it for tiramisu/haxchi ?
Heres the Tiramisu version. It threw a load of errors but still compiled so I don't hold out much hope for this one but I'll still upload just incase it works. :)

EDIT: uploaded better non-error version lol (still untested)

Hi everyone!
I installed RA (Aroma core) and PUAE. Where can I copy the rom files? I use the correct names and folder (I think) but nothing works!

I copied into system folder kick40068.A1200 and kick37175.A500.

What is the problem?

THX

For PUAE use adf files when it comes to roms its far easier and make sure your bios files are in sd/retroarch/cores/system.
You can always check to see if your bios are correct from within Retroarch:
Once the PUAE Core is loaded, select Core Information to see if you bios a correct and present.

Thank you!

It's working now. I put the roms in sd/retroarch/system. The Core information show me the right folder as you wrote.

Have a nice day!

Sorry for the delay @ploggy, your are a master 🤩 I will try this core very soon. Thank you so much

Hello,
I tested the new core, but it's a bit of a disappointment  By making a configuration error, I unknowingly used the MAME 2023-Plus core with VirtuaRacing (ROM 0.139u1), and it worked pretty well. For me, this ROM wasn't supposed to work... I then tested the new Xtreme core, but I can't seem to find the performance of the 2023-Plus core. I'll eventually test it on other games, but this might mean that the Wii U isn't a low-spec platform :)

FYI, Virtua Racing runs at about 25 fps with a 7 frameskip configuration, but still has a lot of issues with this MAME version.

Look Here:

I commented above, take a look, but to update your RA to a newer version you can go to the

EDIT:
For those who want to use Retroarch CrazyMAC, I'll leave the updated version of the playlists here.

Remembering that: when using crazymac, before updating to the newest cores, you must mandatorily leave your main command as gamepad, otherwise, a black screen with an error will appear. Then just put the updated playlist (json format version)
Im new to this retroarch thing. Where do i put this and is there any extra steps i gotta take?

What is the option to make the Home button on the Wii U Pro Controller or Classic Controller to be usable and trigger the RetroArch menu?

Hey @ploggy the work that has been done to make RA work with aroma is awesome and makes me so excited for the future of RA, especially for PS1 emulation. one question, is there some sort of compatibility list available to contribute to? I recently tried playing vagrant story and it seems like the game crashes every time at one specific cutscene. I was wondering if that was just me or not. everything else works like a dream though. PCSX Rearmed is super impressive.
