Warning everything said in this post is speculative and it might be a bunch of "bovinesolidwaste"

No Nintendo switch hack (on my current knowledge) utilizes the Nintendo switch dock so a possible way to softmod the patched Nintendo switch is to exploit the HDMI port and upload a payload from there in some w
ay

HDMI specifically transfers uncompressed audio and video data signals. It does not and cannot transfer any other data beyond uncompressed audio and video signals

You'd have to take a look if there are any vulnerabilities in the HDMI libraries that Nintendo used.
HDMI can send back an forth some messages as part of the HDMI protocol but there have to be ways to exploit that through a buffer overflow or something.
But for the most part, it is just the APU/CPU sending data to the dock.
Changes are slim that there is still anything out there and I don't know if anyone ever bother to dump the firmware of the dock ayway.

Oh boy another one of these dumb posts that shows zero prior knowledge before posting.

Its not like software exploits aren't available for lack of trying.

These posts in Switch community are equivalent of "Is port of x possible???" in Vita community.

Devs are annoyed, knowledgeable amused and rest just has no idea.

Yeah maybe, but there is no point. RCM exists for soft mods and for anyone with a patched device, picofly exists. We are at a stage in Switch hacking that is good enough but shouldn't progress from these options, since then we'd be burning all the nice super secret exploits that are being held onto until Nintendo officially abandons the Switch 1. There could be an exploit possible through HDMI, but even if there was one, we sure as heck won't see it for a long time.
