Hello everyone, I need help understanding how a modchip works, to be precise it is branded Matrix Infinity 1.93, as shown in the attached images. When disassembling my Ps2 50004 I noticed that there are 2 unsoldered points, the ones that go on the back (those between the pliers in the picture), are points I and H of the modchip. The console reads all the original and burned game and movie DVDs without any problems, but it does not read the original and burned CDs or even the blue CD discs of the original PS2 games. I was wondering if it is related to the fact of the unsoldered points. Can anyone tell me if the I and H points of the modchip are important? I don't know if they came off or were intentionally kept off by whoever made the mod. Does anyone have information on this chip? It does not save the settings even if it says save done, on restart they remain the same, maybe it is a clone or maybe it is always related to the fact of the 2 unsoldered points? I am looking for clarifications on this matter from the most expert in the field, thanks!
