Question I don't have permission to view images/attachments in threads

I get:

This has been happening since I created this account a year ago. I mainly want to get texture packs for games but I can't preview the provided images.

If it's in the PCSX2 HD Texture Pack group I believe you have to join it to see attachments and the like.

Try hitting the Join Group button (top-right on desktop) and seeing if that fixes it? Outside of that it could be among the restrictions you have as a new user, which would be lifted after 5 or 10 posts. So that's maybe something else to try.

It could just be me, but I think this is obscure. There's probably a good reason for this. Either way, have a good day/night.

Words cannot explain how stupid this forced option is lol, there is genuinely no good reason further locking the images behind a simple click, it is the definition of illogical. Thank god for this thread at least, but man do I dislike obtuse options that are obtuse just for its own sake

It's a good choice to allow access to a locked group whether you signed up or not, the knowledge and resources can be extremely helpful to others.
