Let the fun begin 😅

Ah this clickbait video. Literally reporting on an ROP bug that is almost completely useless. For reference ROP is basically just hijacking a currently running process to manipulate it. Control like this is almost entirely useless without a kernel exploit to go along with it.

So you have to make a Japanese account and not just change US account region/language to Japanese? Didn't work changing US account region/language.
No i just changed it from european to japan on the browser. You can click on one of the links and then login and go to your account settings and there you can select a different region. Only changing in the switch settings alone is not enough.

low level learning is a pretty serious and insightful channel for it to be reported.

Thanks, got it working now and able to download. Anything else worth downloading?
If you change account on browser and system back to old region do games remain?

Switch hasn't been hacked since 2018, and the new chip has anti glitching measures. It isn't happening.
A lot of people said that the xbox 360 would never get a softmod but it did.

Also there is a lot more we can do then just glitching.

I'm not familiar with them but this video is extremely clickbaity and clearly not a ton of research was put into the claims in the video. Though they definitely aren't the only major channel I've seen do this exact thing.

if you want to download LUA game demos to your switch for potential JB.

you have to change the account to japanese and also change the switch to japanese region.
i just added the games to the wishlist via pc and downloaded them to the switch.
It’s okay to change the account/switch region back to default after downloading the demos, right?

Don't really care how "credible" a person is, if you chase clicks and monetize channel with ads, your basically compromised and a liability 😂

Seeing as lua exploit is being used on the ps5 currently. Would this not be more of a potential way in for the switch 2 as well?

But could be a good entry point for future?
Maybe? I don't know enough about how the Artemis bug works to be able to say whether it exists on any platform outside of Playstation.

That being said, yes, any userland exploit should allow better analysis of the system.

I'll be most curious to see what hackers make of the PAC they have added.

I just wanna say I really hate the current state of console hacking/emulation community. it's full of narcissistic people who try to get as much public attention as possible by shouting every possible info, no matter how small or credible it is, on mainstream social media like youtube or twitter. This kind of behavior is so problematic for so many reasons.
