2 noob questions this time 🙄😂

When safe to do so, how do I update to new fw? Is there a guide as all I can find are comments relating to uninstalling custom themes before hand but no procedure?

Also, how does one make a forwarder to the homebrew menu? I have tried with the nsp generator web page however it just throws me a cannot start software error. I have tried pointing at the hbl.nro on sd root and another one in atmosphere folder but same error occurs. Lost again! 😂

i have an xbox elite gen 2 controlelr and an xbox series x controller
how can i connect to nitnendo switch? mission control doesnt work

This guide should be what you're looking for.

Did you try with this one instead? Can't really help you out because I've never created an NSP forwarder (don't really need them).

You'll need the version which supports BLE. You can find it in MissionControl's Discord server. I'll attach the latest version here.
Note: Works up to 19.0.1, you'll need to wait for Atmosphere update in order to use it on 20.0.x. For more info, check the MissionControl's Discord server.

Hi All, new moded switch, just installed picofly modchip

I have my nintendo folder copy to PC, and stupidly did a systemwipe right after it thinking i should start fresh.

Question is if I can restore my saved to newly create emummc CFW env using Nintendo\save files?

if possible, could someone please link me guides to transfer saves?

Thanks.

please correct me if im wrong but.... i believe you have to extract your Prod key? Unless we have a better simpler way now? Also looking to do this at somepoint too, i use to do this ages ago on the WII & was very helpful
What what??

Fir the forwarder you mean?

Hi there. My question is about OC.

By using OC Switchcraft EOS is there any chance to override handled mode (charging with any usb etc.) limitations or I need to setup It by sys-clk and forcing every app to use different speeds.

Asking cause I love to min/max power draw with having max performance per watt, and don't see any real reason to bruteforce by sys-clk every app with moving thou all modes.

Well if that's not possible will just do slow work with configuring all of that.

Done this yesterday without the Prod keys, use or search on here for - NSP Forwarder Generator

You can make it straight from your switch, which is always good.

how do I back up the saves from my emuMMC partition,

and if I make a new one, which is APPARENTLY what I have to do because I'm stuck in a perpetual [error code: 2002-4057] when I try to boot it (since OCTOBER and nothing has solved it) can I just transfer those back to it and use them fine?

additionally, some LESS important questions:
- can I just dump the installed games from it somehow so I don't have to go through a couple dozen cards and updating them one by one on public wifi
- does it matter if I leave my microSD as fat32 or should I move it to exfat?

EDIT: alternatively, since I don't particularly need online EVER in the future, is it worth it to just update stock to 19.0.0 and avoid using emuMMC? I would still prefer to somehow save the games I've got installed to save a WHOLE lot of time.

Yeah sorry I didn't know what you meant!

The tool recommended to me by @Blythe93 worked a treat, fantastic tool!

I think you are correct re the prod keys as my earlier attempts were with the web page version (which is awesome for custom icons) however I was using downloaded keys and not my own!

Thanks for the insight tho as I was confused as to why it wasn't working that way! 👍👍

how do I back up the saves from my emuMMC partition,
I've never extracted saves from my emuMMC partition before, but you can make a emuMMC backup by following this guide as if you're about to migrate to a new SD card up to the point when you end up having your backup on your PC. After that, follow either this or this guide. Hopefully, it won't be broken to the point that you can't access the USER partition of your emuMMC.

can I just transfer those back to it and use them fine?
You should be able to restore them with either JKSV or Checkpoint, both of which are mentioned in the guides mentioned above.

Definitely keep it as FAT32 and do not use exFAT.

So I'm trying to get my PS3-controller, DualShock 3 to connect to my Switch. I have mission control installed. But I have trouble connecting the controller. Is there a specific button combination to press when trying to connect it? I tried reseting the controller by pressing the little button in the backside for a few seconds, tried to hold in the 'home' button alone and together with select and start but nothing happens.

I believe that first time you connect it to the Switch it must be with the USB cable. Once the LEDs start flashing, disconnect the USB cable and press the PS button. If there's still an issue, make sure that you're using the latest version of the MissionControl and that you have a legit PS3 controller (not sure if unofficial ones are supported).
