@TomSwitch Okay, very well, so what would be the procedure for this search I want to perform?

1. Search for the value "0" (you say "memory dump")
2. Search for an "unknown" value that increases or decreases [let's say "increased" in this example] (???)
3. Search for the value "0" again (???)
4. Search for the "increased" value, since I chose that one (???)
5. Continue successively from steps 3 and 4
6. Value "0"
7. Value "increased"

Could you tell me? Thank you very much.

Hi!
Optantic searches for "unknown" in the video in general.
But I'm searching for "0" and "increased or decreased" for just those two values.
But thank you very much.

*only Tom says that if you search at the beginning for the value of " 0 " there will be many and he said that it is better to search in "unknown".

@Jericoss i do this with both Edizon SE and Breeze:
1) select the search type u8,u16,u42,u64,flt,dbl 2)select diff
3)memory dump
4) go back to the game and increase or decrease the bar
5) select ++ or --,less cicle or more cicle depending on whether you use Edizon SE or Breeze
6) continue following step 4 and 5 until you get a couple of results
Note: this procedure some time is long before find result,it always depends on the game.

Hello!
It's the same thing to search for an "unknown" value.
I also do the same thing to search for bar values.
Thank you very much.

Sorry @herowang a question: why is optanic's Breeze menu different from TomSwitch's? Every time i watch his tutorials i can never understand them well because the toggles are different and i get lost, thanks in advance.

Maybe I'm not making myself clear, so I'll try to replicate it in noexs to see if I'm explaining myself well.
I remembered this from when Master ZiT used to do those searches.
Thank you very much.

He customizes his breeze to better understand it, I imagine.
I'd do the same if I knew how.

(He also made a tutorial on how to change colors in breeze)

Did you do it on Breeze or Edizon SE?
That's what I want to do on Switch without using a PC,
that's why my question but I don't know how to do it

@Jericoss so let me explain better: i use both Edizon SE and Breeze on the console in combination because sometimes i do the unknown search with Edizon SE to be a little faster if i see that with Breeze it takes longer, then if i find a result (with Edizon SE)i add it to the cheat and then i look for a pointer with Breeze which is very fast and more settable than Edizon SE and then i test everything.

Ooh! Now I understand.
And do you think what I want to search for can be done in Breeze or Edizon SE?
What I mean is, the value "0" at the beginning and then searching for "increase" and so on.

@Jericoss you should ask TomSwitch, dsrules or Gamerjin, here they are much much more experienced than me in creating cheats,i am a beginner.

Okay, tomorrow I'll replicate what you do on Switch to see if I can do it.
Thank you so much for responding and clearing this up for me.

*And I don't think you're a beginner. You've already made tons of really good cheats, and if you think so, I'd like to know what it means to not consider yourself a beginner.

@Jericoss if you have anything else to ask me you can PM(my profile is now open to everyone),because i don't want to disturb the main thread for cheats with these things.
No i'm a beginner, the real masters are those i mentioned in the previous post, they taught me to do certain things with the Switch homebrews.👋

The start is the same as unknown search. Dump. Play until not zero. Do DIFF with the datatype (only the size of the datatype matter) you want to continue the search with and you get a file with the current value of zero (because as I said before the first DIFF fetch the dumped value and not the current value. Now you can perform the continue search you want to perform.

Say you wanted to search for flt == 0, Dump, play then flt DIFF, continue second search. This would be same as flt=0 primary search (you will very likely get warning that you exceeded the file limit, but assume you don't), play, continue second search.

Huge shoutout to @Gamerjin for helping me fix the master code after 2.0.0

But the GBA codes that Patjenova, Jin and I all worked on (that i use at least) are all updated and i even converted them to new code types with less op code usage (Thanks for tips Gamerjin)

GBA codes updated to 2.1.0 version

*Zelda Minish Cap and 3 Custom rom games Bomberman Tournament, Bomberman Jetters Densetsu No Bomberman, and Lufia Ruins of Lore*

https://github.com/Arch9SK7/MyNXChe.../010012F017576000/cheats/5C5297CACE4B2A2A.txt

I also updated the codes for N64 to latest 3.0.0 build. I may convert these later to similar code type structure but not atm.

https://github.com/Arch9SK7/MyNXChe.../0100C9A00ECE6000/cheats/3F5D921A2EB8089C.txt

enjoy :)
atmosphere/contents/010012F017576000/cheats/5C5297CACE4B2A2A.txt

I have updated the gba codes more to removed even more op code usage. Now before anyone grabs this file here (this IS different from what is on my github) as these code versions are exclusive to atmosphere 1.9.0+ as cheat VM has new extentions from @TomSwitch so these wont work for you if you are not on atmos 1.9.0.

You can keep hold onto this file if you want for when public release goes out. Will allow you to condense more gbagames codes all in one file with no issue.

Sorry @herowang a question: why is optanic's Breeze menu different from TomSwitch's? Every time i watch his tutorials i can never understand them well because the toggles are different and i get lost, thanks in advance.
I always refer to TomSwitch and optanic's released tutorials to help me study SWITCH cheats.
TomSwitch as the Breeze developer and optanic as a well known cheat code creator are respectable people to learn from.
But I don't know optanic personally.
Maybe he or his friends modifies part of the source code and makefile it.

@herowang thanks for the explanation,of course i respect everyone including you,you are all better than me,without them i would not have been able to learn and create anything.

Do you mean short cuts keys are different? You can choose to customize it.
