oh

well i feel like an idiot, ima go do that now but i do still wonder what the issue is, anyway if anyone has an answer please help but otherwise thanks

:)
Hi,
i just tried modding a wii for the first time.
that happened to me too (black screen & no response trying to use Letterbomb)
the answer was to use a different SD card. A Sandisk 32gb worked but a Lexar 32gb did not.
My clock was right and my MAC address was right for sure, i literally just had to try with a different SD card.

WRONG, FAT32 is what you need not FAT16.
For each SD card i tried I used RUFUS to format each of my SD cards as "Large FAT32" with MBR style partition and then copied over the contents of the ModMii generated folder.
And Sandisk 32GB SDHC is what's in there now + also what I modded it with.
AFAIR a SD-CARD with FAT16 is needed, not SDHC or SDXC.

I have a Wii with 4.3 firmware, but I can't connect to the wi-fi network, so after I change the numbers under Auto-Obtain DNS, im kinda stuck. Is there any way to go about this?

You can use your smartphone to create a hotspot with no password and connect to that. You will need to use your smartphone phone company Internet however.

if you happen to have an old wifi router around this is what solved it for me, i was about to buy a LAN adapter when i tried plugging in some very old router i had and it worked. My normal wifi is too new for the wii, it would connect but have a really hard time staying connected.

I've just updated the bottom of the first post with a couple known bugs, will try to get them sorted out asap, and maybe even have some cool stuff in the next update besides only bugfixes
FYI ModMii now updates the version of WiiPy bundled with ModMii 8.0.0-8.0.3 automatically during update checks to fix the emunand title installation issues. First post updated accordingly as well.

Is Custom Ios installer necessary for USB Loader GX? Seems like I'm getting an error message when I'm, trying to install Ios Installer.

Hey, i tried modding my Wii for the first time.
I formatted my 128 GB to FAT32 (no quick format) and followed the steps in ModMii.
When i boot the Wii with the SD-card i see the letter in the letterbox, but when i click on it it just restarts the Wii and i see my normal channels. What can I do? Thanks for the help!

check your wii date and time, be sure you copied all files to the root of the sd card.
