While I agree with the "saying no to facists/nazis" sentiment, which is kind of an obvious thing to any decent human being, thing is very few people nowadays actually know what facists and nazis really are anymore. These words are now basically used to berate anyone with a different opinion and have lost their true meaning, and many seem completely oblivious to the fact that nowadays facism is not yesterday's facism.
Fascist/Nazis:
People Burning Books about why racism is bad or from a teenager and their experience before their death in Nazi Occupied territory.
Trying to stop any criticism of their leader or nation.
Trying to and wanting to deport natural born citizens based on their race/genetics.
Trying to make protests a crime worthy of being in one of the worst possible prisons in the world (pretty much a gulag).
People arresting innocent people based on their looks alone, and still transporting them to said prison children included.
Calling anyone news outlet that doesn't agree with you "False news" or "Propaganda".
Refusing to return a man home after a mistaken arrest from said prison.
Trying to remove/re-write history to exclude women or anyone not white.
Trying to undo years of social programs that helped minorities or the marginalized.
People claiming to be a superior race.
People that claim every person of a particular group is the cause of a problem or all the problems in a nation.
People that constantly call the opposition pedophiles and rapists, while having actual pedophiles and rapists on their payroll.
People that give heavier sentences to the poor and disenfranchise.
People that are trying to repress education to the masses.
People haven't forgotten the word, there are just more of these examples cropping up in the world and to me it just seems like handwaving these acts when you say people forgot the meaning.
