I switched to Citron and now it's working perfectly, thank you.
I think you replied to the wrong person dude.

I swear to god there's a group of people who are OBSESSED with Lossless Scaling. And they seem to always hang around emulator and handheld forums/communities.
Yeah, people need to realize they can't force others to like what they do, it's okay if they like lossless scaling but being too forceful about it to everyone is just being a nuisance.

Is there any way to get more stable FPS yet? The game stutters a lot both at 30 FPS and 60 FPS on Ryubing

ANYWAYS is there any possibility the game could be made to go beyond 60 fps or is there just some kind of limitation that prevents it?
probably not a priority, most xeno games have major issues with fps mods which need a lot of debugging to get it running perfectly.
however, you could use some framegen to increase the 60fps mods to 120fps or more with little impact on performance or visuals ;>

man, he's not being forceful.. its just his broken english that makes it come off this way.. he's putting in effort like everyone to share methods to get a better performance/visual out of the game.
people are just shitting on him because of the gamer hivemind around the whole framegen situation.

try switching to Citron and enabling async shader building, i think it might be the shaders loading that could be the stuttering you're on about?

EDIT: After I played for a while longer I did notice some large triangle shadows appearing, so I think the issue is still present at 1800p, just less pronounced.

Send a new screeenshot/recorded video to prove it.

Not the main goal. We're trying to fix the issues on 60FPS first.

For me I feel the pop is the same, i'am not a modder but as far as i know, on other xenoblade games, draw distance mods was not possible, maybe I'am wrong (and i hope).
Poping issue is way better on xcx than xc3, on xc3 grass pop really really near of you, like 2m :(

Not the main goal but we can take a look at it.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the mods. Using the last update from the github on last ryubing release.

After a crash and trying stuff one by one, look like I can reliably crash the game (Invalid memory access at virtual address) by running just 1900p (or 1800p) mod and opening the "active member" menu. Seem to be a 100% crash if done in the city (was standing near all the shops).
Using 4/6/8 dram doesn't seem to help.

Other question here, is there a trick to figure out which cheats work on Ryujinx rn ? I'm honestly mostly interested in having 2-16x faster xp just so I can progress faster (I finished game on Wii u back then) but so far I don't think any level xp one I tried did anything or just crashed game.

its seem these resolution mods make my game crash when switching party member on ryujinx

Just FYI:

Ryujinx does not support such high resolutions compared to Citron.

I would try to use KeatonTheBot's fork instead.

Try Citron, it runs better for me than Ryubing.
Game stuttered when I was jumping around in town, Citron was perfect.

While there are some extremely obsessive people, I think it just normally boils down to:
1) The desire to help
2) Unfamiliarity in how create or implement cheats or mods

I think most of them see the UI/QTE issue. Lossless is simple and "solves" that - and they throw out a mention to help. I don't think they really care too much about native frames or anything like that. Overall, I think it's a good compromise for people who don't understand anything about the finer details.

To me, it's forgivable if someone just mentions it. It IS a viable choice. What bothers me more is when two people get into a spat about technical details or just spams the hell out of it. And usually it's just a select few that do that.

General Settings (Emulation -> Configure). NOTE: IIRC you will only see Mailbox option if you have a Nvidia GPU card.

Hello, kinda newbie here in emulator scene, i use a Laptop with RTX 3050 4GB and 16GB of RAM and SSD, is the 60 FPS mod make any difference in quality of game considering my lack of VRAM? or is there any tips or trick to make it more smooth

Emulation is about CPU mainly, not just GPU. So that depends on your laptop CPU.

This is another version of the 60FPS mod. It's included in Fl4sh's Github. I haven't included it yet to avoid confusion between the different versions of the FPS mods. Also is still WIP

What it does
:

60FPS in gameplay
60FPS in real time cutscenes
30FPS in pre-rendered cutscenes

I tested it a bit and it fixes the following issues:

- When you talk to a NPC, FPS drops from 60FPS to 30FPS.

- When you finish a mission and the mission complete message appears, the FPS drops to 30.

Oh thx, my laptop use AMD Ryzen 5 5600H (12 CPu) ~ 3.3Ghz, do you reckon is it enough?

I don't think that you will get a stable 60FPS but you can try it.

has this got the arua/debuffs fix in it aswell?
(man it's already getting confusing on all the different types of 60fps mods.. you guys must be having a nightmare ahaha)

it works thanks once again ! Also do you think its possible to dump textures ? and of course upscale it ? not a request, just a question :D

I don't have much knowledge about tools to extract texture files etc etc in this game. It's my first time playing a Xenoblade game (and tbh only because I was bored and there aren't any good Switch releases I'm interested in so far this year).

So yeah ... The Xenoblade community has been lucky that I'm interested in this game. I have to admit that from the soundtrack and what I've played ... I'm finding it a good game (finally) and it doesn't bore me like others I've played recently.

Surely it's possible but you would have to know how to extract and modify those files.
