Last edited by LaMano,
Breeze becomes easier once you adapt to its differences. Try the latest Beta 99 prerelease—I’ve made the UI more user-friendly for newcomers. Let me know your thoughts!
https://github.com/tomvita/Breeze-Beta/releases/tag/beta99

Breeze Search Process and File Management

Breeze creates files that store address-value pairs, which represent the search criteria. These files help track changes in game memory across different states. To simplify the process:

  • The first file is automatically named File 1 if it doesn’t already exist.
  • Subsequent files are named sequentially, such as File 1(00), File 1(01), File 1(02), etc., to maintain an organized structure.

Game States and Operations

  • A, B, C: These represent different game states during the search process.
  • Dump: Captures a full memory dump of the game at a specific state.
  • Diff: Compares the addresses stored in a file with the current game memory from the previous search. It stores the addresses that have changed, along with their corresponding values.

Key Behavior of Diff:

  • When performed on a dump result, the Diff operation stores data from the dump (not the current memory).
  • To capture the current memory state, a second dump must be performed sequentially.

Breeze Search Steps

The Breeze search process involves the following steps:

  1. Dump to File 1: Capture a full memory dump of Game State A (data for every address in game memory).
  2. Play the game and make changes: Transition from Game State A to Game State B.
  3. Diff from File 1 to File 1(00): Identify addresses with values that changed between Game State A and Game State B. Store the values from Game State A in File 1(00).
  4. Diff from File 1(00) to File 1(01): Identify the same addresses but store the values from Game State B in File 1(01).
  5. Play the game and make further changes: Transition from Game State B to Game State C.
  6. Diff from File 1(01) to File 1(02): Identify addresses with values that changed between Game State B and Game State C. Store the values from Game State C in File 1(02).
In summary, the Breeze search process follows this sequence:
Dump → Play → Diff → Diff → Play → Diff

Comparison with EdiZon

  • EdiZon uses a single file, and each operation overwrites the previous result. Its process is:
    Dump → Play → Diff → Play → Diff
  • Breeze requires one additional search step when starting with a dump:
    Dump → Play → Diff → Diff → Play → Diff
This extra step in Breeze ensures that changes are tracked more comprehensively, with separate files for each state and diff operation.

Why This Matters

Breeze’s approach provides a more detailed and organized way to track memory changes across game states. By creating separate files for each step and storing values from both the dump and current memory, Breeze offers greater flexibility and accuracy in analyzing game memory.

I didn't even understand this at all

Dump memory at A, play until B, diff, diff, play until C, diff

I will add more codes when continuing playing.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered 1.0.1 TID: 0100BC101C896000 BID: A85B486DDE923795

A few codes here after 1 hour of playing... But only valid for Tomb Raider IV right now... for the other Tomb Raider games there have to be another master code and other cheat codes as well.
I will add more codes when continuing playing.

Update: Added a few codes more

Explanation to "SaveRestore Coords (Save:ZR+Up-Right Restore:ZR+Down-Left)"
Use ZR+Left Cursor Up for Save State 1 and when you want to Restore this Save State 1 then ZR+Left Cursor Down
For Save State 2 you can use ZR+Right and Restore with ZR+Left
Only xyz Coordinates are stored and restored here

Thank you and I missed the last step for searching a pointer to the R1 address from Breeze generated master code. One puzzle moved more into their place :)

I can try to do that... Never did a Moonjump. Is it completely different to my "High Jump" Cheat from a behaviour perspective? I can try to look into Tomb Raider I-III but thought that my game version have a different BID so I can not try the existing out. Can you describe how the old one worked? I try to reproduce similar behaviour?

Or did I misunderstood you, do you want to moonjump from TR I-III here in IV-VI as well or the other way round my "High Jump" Cheat ported to TR I-III?

Moonjump is like if you could float/fly in mid air stand still or while facing some direction by holding the jump button, you can even adjust the jump height of the jump if you keep pressing and releasing the button. TomSwitch even made a tutorial about that here:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/silver-...00-bid-61c31e80b144b220.661644/#post-10510257

If you have time and try to make the cheat for all Tomb Raider games that would be great, either your super jump or moonjump

Very good... It worked with the Moonjump
Was a little bit strange because it uses s16 as data type and negative when jumping up and positive when falling down. It was short before I gave up on that one.

Please try the code out if it works, I updated it in my previous post.

Should not be too difficult to add it to the other Tomb Raider as well because in I-III the game mechanic on saving z coordinate was the same (if I remembered correctly) and therefore the velocity instruction in between also. (I saw the instruction but not knowing that this in the velocity which is saved here and therefore achieved the high jump in the first place in Tomb Raider I and II)

My BID for Tomb Raider I-III is 20AA93B5B902A282... Is this the same for you?

Thanks for your effort. I tried your moonjump but when i jump Lara keeps jumping forever (stuck) in mid air until she reach the invisible roof barrier of the scenario and i can only go back to the ground by disabling the cheat haha

EDIT: My Tomb Raider I-III TID is 010024601BB16000, but i don't remember the BID because i had to uninstall the game some time ago

Okay you can try again with the updated file... Problem was, that you had to activate also the "Restore Code" Cheat because when you do not Hold B for the Moonjump to stop or deactivate, the original code have to be written to the game. The original value was in the "Restore Code".

I changed that now, that the original value is also in the MoonJump Code available. So that it works with pressing B and releasing B.
